A few moments later, he had the ten slushies placed inside cardboard holders. "Right four is the vodka ones," He explained and smiled. I took the order from him, leaving a tip in the jar. A hundred. His eyes grew wide and finally recognition set in. "I didn't recognize you, Gamma Maverick. Are you in line to go on the carts?"

“We’ll just get paid and be, ah, on our way . . . ” “Fine, fine, calm the fuck down.” Yanking off his three-fingered paw, Pink Bunny jams a wrinkly hand into a hidden pouch in his costume’s chest. “Look, pizza people, you didn’t see any of this, okay? Total silence.” Neon-pink condoms, a chicken nugget, and a small bag of pills spill from the pocket as he roots around, his hand finally appearing with a moist wad of twenty-dollar bills. “Here. The masked guy started to make a noise in pain when Juliana again sprayed that pepper spray in his eyes. Professional hot dog rescuer.” I laughed, taking his hand. “Bella. Nurse. Professional...uh, eater of hot dogs.” Carter chuckled, and just like that, the conversation flowed. He asked where I worked, and when I told him, he grinned. “I do some shifts at that hospital sometimes. Small world.” We chatted while we waited for food, trading stories about hectic shifts and weird patient encounters. Carter was funny in an easy, unforced way, and he had this charm that made it impossible to feel awkward around him.

I turned to see a really hot guy smiling at me. "Is it good?" He asked. "Yeah." I nodded. "If I buy you another one.. can I have your number?" He asked and I guess he doesn't read the news or even see my ring. I just shrugged and continued to eat. He got up and he really buy another hotdog for me and for him. I saw Deandre coming to me when the guy gave me the hotdog. Deandre looking at me confused and the guy sat beside me. "You must be hungry." The guy chuckled looking at me and I just ignored him but thanks for the free hot dog anyway. Deandre came to us and sat beside the guy and he was just enjoying his hotdog while looking at me.

My stomach growled so loudly, the man next to me looked down in surprise. The scent pulled at me like a string. I followed it, weaving through the lingering crowd until I found a food stall tucked beside a gelato cart, smoke and grease wafting from it like a siren song. I stepped up to the stand, eyes already watering at the possibilities. “Two corn dogs, please. No, wait—make that three. Actually—four.” The vendor grunted, pulling the sticks out of sizzling oil and wrapping them quickly in parchment. My mouth watered as I reached for my bag...

The place was lively, with games and rides; there was so much to do, and I didn't know where to begin. The ladies sure know where to begin their eyes landed on a street vendor there was hot dogs, pretxel and a lot of other stuff, Arianna and Lucia ended up getting one of each, we found a bench sat down to eat, when we were done, we played some games ballon pop which i won a big brown teddy bear for Arianna " Yay!" she looks so exicted.
