I smiled. Rose had mud covering her clothes, with splashes of water on her top as well. "You should change your clothes, otherwise you will catch a cold." She nodded with a sheepish smile, "I went to collect water from the river but slipped over the rock and fell." I paused but continued stirring again...the river. "Can you add the final petals and stir this? I have some work to do." Rose looked at me in shock and to my surprise, she shook her head in a no immediately, "I can't do that, you shall always complete your work other..."

On seeing this rose, I just thought about my past. Time stopped. One day, David gave me a rose plant because he knew how much I loved roses. And then he said: "If I gave you a rose, then it would wither in just 2 or 3 days and I would never want that thing, which is the same as the name of my beautiful sister, to become rotten. That's why I brought the whole plant for you. And I know that you take good care of it. And will never let it wither."

As I put one of my feet inside of the warm and welcoming water filled with the petals of the beloved and most beautiful rose. I sometimes wonder why it has so much love being given to it. It is so imperfect, yet that is its perfection just like all of us--We are perfect and one because of the imperfections of us. I also wonder why a rose just steals my heart every time I look at it--it's just so magnificent. Is it because of the color that it possesses or because of the way it possesses the frail heart of mine? So melted in my thoughts that I was, I didn't realize that I had to get out of the bath to get ready.

"My car is outside. We leave now, or we die in this club." Sloane looked at the door, then back at the man who was supposed to be her target. She reached into her clutch and pulled out a single, preserved black rose. She dropped it on the chest of the man she had just killed. "The job is done," she whispered, her eyes locking onto Julian’s. "But the war is just beginning." He didn't wait. He grabbed her hand, their fingers interlocking—forged in the heat of the hunt—and pulled her into the rainy night.

I grabbed a pillow, hugging it to my chest. “They make it look so easy. Their love is so beautiful.” “Movies always lie. That is their selling point.” Liam said. “Maybe you are right. But when it comes to love in reality, people overthink things.” “Do you think forgiveness is easy?” he asked, and I thought about it before giving him an answer. “No. But it's lighter than holding on.” I said, leaning back on the chair. I didn't even rember when his arm shifted and my shoulder brushed it. I only remembered the words from the movie and it kept on playing.

I nodded. Rose covered her ears as we heard another gunshot making me drag the car into a forest road and turning it around to face their car, "Don't get out" I said staring at them and we wait, Till they get out. I wait till I see Coby's car slowly pull up away from us and he walks out. I grabbed the gun under my seat. "Get in the back Rose" I didn't hear anything and I look at her. Her eyes staring at my gun.

He stayed in the car and waited. Holding a bouquet of white roses, Daisy slowly walked through rows of gravestones until she stopped in front of the one tucked away in the farthest corner. The stone bore only Dario's name and the years of his birth and death. In the photograph, he had on a black suit. His distinct features were exactly the same as the first time Daisy had met him. She placed the white roses in front of the gravestone and stood there silently for a long time. Finally, she said softly, "When I said I wouldn't forgive you, I meant it. But I don't hate you anymore either. Rest in peace."

She looked at him and asked, “Why did you suddenly decide to plant a field of roses in the garden?” Blair held her hand and walked to the table. “Roses mean ‘I love you’. I wanted to give you a field of roses, where even if they whither, they will bloom fresh flowers again.” He lowered his head and kissed her hand, his voice low and husky. “They symbolize my love for you, unwavering until death.” Mable’s breath caught. Unwavering until death. What a heavy promise. His feelings for her were truly... Mable looked at Blair, her eyes slightly moist.
