As if someone pushed him from behind. He swung the baseball bat, hitting the ghoul on its head. And upon impact, the ghoul suddenly flinched. It reacted irritably. It extended its left arm, and swung, hitting Eurus' left feet, he flew into the air for a moment-maybe four feet above the ground and slightly pushed him away from their distance.

A ghoul—a smoky, semi-corporeal horror with glowing red eyes and clawed hands—materialized from the shadows and slammed into him. He grunted in pain as his back connected hard with the carriage, the breath knocked from his lungs. The cube clattered to the ground but continued its ominous pulse. The ghoul, joined by a second, shambled toward him. The mayor, witnessing this, screamed, and the few townsfolk nearby scattered.

He stood up and walked to where he used to out his books, he took a small but old looking book and came back to where he was sitting, next to me. "I read it in this book , there is a certain theory which say that people might have ghost clones, these clones looks and dresses exactly like the original you and they can do anything you can do. Sometimes if you are lucky you can have a good clone but if you are unlucky you are likely to have a bad and evil clone , which means you are unlucky because yours is evil" he explained. His explanation shocked me , i have never heard such things and I've never believed in ghost theories.

She’s a pretty girl, but noticeably a ‘working girl’. Her facial makeup makes her seem older. She sees the gun and pulls herself away almost instantly. The other girl isn’t so lucky. Gordon grabs her as soon as her eyes meet mine. He holds her in front of himself so that Caleb can’t get his shot. He is almost the same height as her, so it’s a crafty move.

"At least that's a relief.." Maira interrupted with a defeated smirk, "Don't underestimate Ghouls. They might not have eyes or ears, but their tongues are super sensitive and poisonous! They are merciless cannibals who eat their prey alive… Their sense of smell makes up for every other sensory organ. If they catch even a slightest whiff of our flesh, they'll chase us till the end of the earth." "Great! So we are stuck here…" Falco jeered in agitation. "What's the point of coming first when we can even cross the damn valley?"

But it didn't matter to her anymore. "Do you know what you are?" "A Night... Hallow." she answered meekly. "Indeed. But do you know what kind of a Night Hallow you are?" She shook her head. "What is your name?" "Lana." she answered briefly. "Lana. Lana the Ghoul." the male repeated. "A ghoul?" "A phantom. Perhaps you have been associated with the graves before?" the male asked. Lana nodded. "Maybe... when I was alive, I remember working as a gravedigger."

Feeling that familiar iciness in the air surrounding them, the hairs on her body stood instantly. "Let's start with the basics, what is your name?" "Nicholas." What an ordinary name. So ghosts do have one. "You said something about being half dead and second chances, what does that mean?" "Recovering my memories gives me access to my body and its location." Oh, so he doesn't know where his body is. Poor ghost. "But, why me?" "I told you. Soulmate." All strength left her. Conversations with this ghost led nowhere.

Suddenly, a ghoul jumped in front of them and roared. Cassandra couldn't help but gasp. Sharp teeth, long sharp claws about 6ft tall. A very hideous and scary creature that eats humans and vampires, werewolves, faeries, and witches' flesh. A ghoul, one of Ikrur's loyal animals. "I have to fight it. Stay back, hon. I will handle this," Sebastian said and pushed Cassandra behind him.
