The title sent shivers through me: 'Dark Powers, Secrets of the Werewolves'. I opened the book, and a strange glow emanated from the pages. I felt a sudden jolt, like a surge of electricity had passed through me. The room began to spin, and I fell to the ground, the book slipping from my grasp. As I struggled to get up, I heard the old woman's voice, urgent and worried. 'Ryker! Ryker, what's wrong?' She rushed into the room, her eyes scanning me frantically. I glared at the book till I was on my bed and the book never opened - maybe it is my illusion. I ducked myself into the sheets and this time I could hear the flipping of a book - The book. I was scared as hell because when I was still young, I read a lot of horror stories without the consent of my mother, Nahigra. I stared until the last flip of a page. Gradually and slowly as I can, I left my bed to see what my eyesight can't comprehend. To my surprise, it was still that same chapter and a phrase written in bold, "WHEN EVERYTHING GOES SOUTH, DO NOT GO NUT?"

Countless shelves lined with weathered books and scrolls stretched into the distance, promising untold secrets and forgotten wisdom. They made their way through the labyrinthine aisles, their eyes scanning the titles and searching for any mention of Lycans or black magic. Dust danced in the rays of sunlight that filtered through stained glass windows, lending an ethereal quality to their journey. Finally, they discovered a section dedicated to ancient legends and forbidden knowledge. The books here were wrapped in worn leather, their pages delicate and yellowed with age. But due to the old age, the part of the leather had turned dusty, causing it to crack and peel off. Rose who was handed the book slowly opened the book that made a slight cracking noise. She stared at the old yellow pages, opening it to find that the book had not only been hand written but also had drawn. There was a vampire in the first page, drawn by hand, their figure, features, and even the maliciousness was exactly the same as what she had seen before. It made her curious of the other beings drawn there, finding skeletons that could move and act on their own, animals that were dead but would fight upon a magic casted by the sorcerer.

Finally, she found the one she was looking for. Layla managed to grab the book and add it to her stack in her arms when her eyes caught sight of something. A book stood out among the rest. It was bound with dark brown leather and had brandished designs on the spine. The title read - Malleus Vampiro: A Treatise on Vampires. Placing her other books on the floor, Layla pulled the leather-bound book from its home amongst the others and opened it. As her eyes skimmed the pages, she caught a couple of words; SHADOW STALKERS, BLOODSUCKER, PHANTOMS.

I ask him and he stands and goes over to his bookshelves and pulls out a huge book and brings it over to desk that sits in the corner of the room. I quickly get up and moved to him wanting to see the content in the book. I look at the pages as Travis flips slowly through them and I realize every horror movie made in Hollywood was made from a creature of this book. I began to read a page and Travis went to flip the page to quickly and I reached down to stop him from flipping the page and my hand accidentally brushed his hand and chills went through my body to the tips of my toes and I turned to look at him and he was already looking at me.
