Novel & Cerita The Blackwell Ghost True Story

I send him in to sleep it off, and give the driver my own address next. The last of the adrenaline drains from my system as I lean against the taxi door, resting my forehead on the cool of the window. The whole incident is hazy in my mind, as though wrapped in cotton-wool. The hypnotic stranger, the ecstasy of dancing with him, the appearance of the Grey Woman and Great-Uncle Mathewe. Bellmouth, in the distance. Bellmouth only bays when the life of a family member is in danger. I wonder just what it was that the Blackmarsh ghosts have just saved me from, and I shudder.

Roland said. Zeke got to the remote before I did and the images that flashed across the screen were shocking and they caught us by surprise. They showed a desolate scene on a quiet residential street, yellow tape everywhere, and reporters struggling to maintain composure. The breaking story: Gordon Blackwood—patriarch of the Blackwood Dynasty, had been found dead in a gruesome murder case. Authorities have asked anyone with information to come forward.

Even if she did, she'd blame it on the wind. "Ghost?" Sharon was becoming concerned, "I thought you don't believe in such things?" "Really? Oh, em." Geneva cleared her throat and spoke confidently, "that's true, I am not scared by flimsy things such as ghooosts!" The last word Sharon heard was the word 'ghosts' being screamed into her eardrums before she heard nothing else. The phone had fallen and disassembled and the call, disconnected.

Slowly… slowly… Until it stood right above her head. Anusha froze with fear. She turned her head slightly— There was no one in the room. But on the wall… the shadow stood. And then— The shadow’s head moved close to her ear and whispered— “I have come…” Her eyes widened. The next second, the lamp went out. The room plunged into darkness. And someone grabbed her shoulder— Cold… icy… not human at all. Anusha screamed and fainted. When she woke up in the morning, the guest house was normal.

"She confessed to murder, she confessed to everything, I have it all recorded on my phone right now." "A recording of what exactly?" "Of Vanessa Marlowe confessing to killing someone thirty years ago and running illegal genetic experiments on people." I knew I sounded completely insane but I kept talking anyway. "Please, you have to send police, my husband is there and she's dangerous and she has guns." "What's your name, ma'am?" "Elena Blackwell." I wiped my face with one hand and the car swerved slightly. "My husband is Adrian Blackwell and he's trapped there with Marcus Chen and Vanessa has guards pointing guns at them."

Her hands trembled weakly against the sheet. Blackwell, a well-preserved eighty years old, calmly wiped the bloody knife on a white cloth. "I'm sorry, girl," he said quietly. "It's nothing personal. I have served this family for fifty-six years. Fifty-six years watching monsters play at being human. They promised me immortality, you know? Just one sip of the true blood of a Darkmoor. All I have to do is deliver you dead to them. The wolves pay well." Blackwell slipped the knife inside his jacket and calmly adjusted his vest.

I told her about my concerns and she nodded her head. "I was here in this cemetery when that accident occured. I have seen it. What people saw, a black van, driven by two men in black masks. They hit a girl. But we ghosts saw the real picture." Jenaveve started telling me the story I was dying to hear. "What did you see? Why do I have a feeling that you are trying to hold back? You know, you can trust me." I asked her and she shook her head. She had a disappointed look on her face. While all the other ghosts had terrified looks on their faces.

The possessive way he fucked me like he both hated and needed me. I forced a grin. “You’re crazy, man. You watch too many movies.” He stepped aside but whispered as I passed, “Run while you still can. He’ll ruin you.” Later that day, I overheard two employees gossiping near the cafeteria. “Did you hear about The Ghost? Some billionaire who shows up masked at underground parties. Pays good money, fucks like a demon, then vanishes. Nobody ever sees his face.” I laughed it off again. But deep inside of me, i was worried for myself.

“Wow—wait. You’re being serious? You actually bought that excuse?” Maya shook her head. “Listen, Liz. Mr. Blackwell is…” she trailed off, as if searching for the right word. “A beast. If it were any other maid who invaded his privacy, she’d be out of here so fast her feet wouldn’t touch the ground. Even if she’d die, he wouldn’t care.” “Yeah,” Amber added, her voice hushed. “It got worse after the accident. He changed completely. No one knows why, but ever since then, he started wearing that mask and hardly left his room.”

He looked down at his fingers, then looked back up at us, his eyes wide and frantic, but the sick, manipulative smile was still tugging at the corners of his mouth. "You... you think you won," Elias wheezed, blood bubbling at his lips as he struggled to speak. He looked directly at me, his voice a ragged, desperate whisper. "You think this changes... anything? The video is still playing, Kira. The vanguards are still... marching. They will find his body... they will see a human murdered by a wolf. I am... a martyr now. I will always be... the man who saved them from you..." His head snapped back. His eyes rolled into the top of his skull, and his hands dropped heavily to his sides. Elias Bla
