Creepy Books Novels & Stories

The hallways are empty and the last traces of daylight bleed out behind the faculty windows. I adjust my blouse, smooth down my skirt, and swallow the lump in my throat before knocking on his door. “Come in,” comes the deep baritone from inside. God, his voice. That low, worn rasp that always sounds like he’s just woken up. It makes heat bloom low in my stomach. I push the door open and step into the soft amber glow of his office. It smells like paper and coffee, a hint of worn leather and something clean and masculine. Books line every wall. Stacks of paper litter his desk, along with a half-finished mug. And there he is. Professor Grey.

Vaelspire Keep, The Forbidden Vault The Vault doors groaned open, revealing shelves lined with tomes bound in skin and bone. All the ancient and forbidden books of the old were stored and recorded there. Books with knowledge too ancient, too powerful, and useful to their enemies were stored here. Alaric stepped inside, torch in hand, his eyes scanning until they found the one he needed. It read, Bloodborne Bonds: Curses, Hybrids, and Abominations. He flipped through the pages, stopping when he saw an illustration that made his heart freeze.

"The day I overheard Archer, they were discussing the Blood Moon day. I think I heard something about the Demon's forest." " Demon's forest? What's that?" Axel asked. " I have read about it somewhere, but I don't remember where." Adele thought hard and then asked Trevor, " Do you have ancient books in the Library here?" " Yes. We have every book related to supernaturals," Trevor says proudly. "Let's check," Adele said and dashed in the direction of the Library while everybody else followed her. They all started checking in the werewolf books, and after a few minutes, Adele found the required information in a Book called ' Scariest places on earth.' " It's here," she said, and the others left

Thane dragged, “you mean everything, right?” I could see his point. Everything here gave me the creeps and made me feel uncomfortable—everything down to the creepy fur rug that covered the floor of this study, or whatever she might have chosen to call this place. “How about these?” Thane asked, drawing my attention to a shelf full of creepy books and tomes. “Not that. Creepy, but not creepy enough,” I said. “I smell blood and death all over them,” he said. “Fun, but not what I’m looking for,” I replied.

Finally, she found the one she was looking for. Layla managed to grab the book and add it to her stack in her arms when her eyes caught sight of something. A book stood out among the rest. It was bound with dark brown leather and had brandished designs on the spine. The title read - Malleus Vampiro: A Treatise on Vampires. Placing her other books on the floor, Layla pulled the leather-bound book from its home amongst the others and opened it. As her eyes skimmed the pages, she caught a couple of words; SHADOW STALKERS, BLOODSUCKER, PHANTOMS.

Marco added before he dropped the call. I guess it was time to unbury the hatchet. Even if it has rotten in the ground, we don't have a choice. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Dear Readers, Vampire and the Siren is now available on A****n, you can get a copy for an affordable price. she murmured, tilting her head. Drawn by fascination, she found the rolling ladder attached to the bookshelf and climbed carefully. Her fingers trailed over several thick volumes—Blood Oaths and Moonlight, Fangs of Fire, The Treaty of Shadows. The illustrations on the covers were beautiful yet chilling, with fanged creatures, glowing eyes, and moons stained crimson. With great care, she pulled down four books and descended, arms full. She found the oversized reading chair near the window and curled into it, flipping open the first book.

But Tyler seldom buys her new books and she wasn’t allowed to go anywhere without permission so she couldn’t go to the library either. She thought of the little books that she had. She wished she had brought them. They were one of the only things that helped her. She walked around the second floor, skimming through the titles and taking in the smell of the place. Stopping on a title that read “Creatures of The Other.” and deciding that she would read it, she went over to the second floor’s lounge area and began reading her first supernatural book. ***

“They’re not here. I haven’t sniffed out any in this town. Plus, it’s daylight. They can’t come out during the day.” “What about if they had a magical amulet or something?” He widened his eyes. “Well. . .sure. But not many have them and. . .how did you know that?” “The Craving series. It’s these paranormal romance books that talk about vampires. They mention witches and werewolves too, but not as much. It’s mainly about vampires.” Maddox watched her with fascination. Although he was naked and bloodied, she was too out of it to notice. Keeping her talking about the books would be the best way to keep her relaxed.

Whatever it was, I didn't care but of course, I knew there was something more. I opened the book flipped through the old pages and dread settled thick within my heart. This wasn't just some quack book you could buy on A****n or any local book store. This was the real deal and I could feel the presence of evil as I bent over to examine the pages. There was a section on human sacrifices and spells. There were so many different sections about occult practices that were unspeakable and gruesome.
