Eventually, from behind the trees, countless hordes of demons emerged, then vampires, and behind them other evil beings and monsters, in total almost 500.000 of enemies. Even in Elisabeth's eyes a fear flashed, although throughout all the years of her life she had a lot of tough battles with only slightly smaller hordes. Occasionally, one would twitch—a faint, mechanical spasm as it tried to resolve the "Loss" loop Kael had injected—but for now, the Swarm was a sleeping giant.

Before he could respond, the hall went quiet. Not gradually. All at once. Next thing she knew. The Hallowed Hall was the kind of room that made you understand why certain spaces were built large not for capacity. Stone arches rose sixty feet overhead. and the modern lighting suspended within them managed the remarkable feat of feeling both cold and warm simultaneously. The floor was dark marble. The seating was arranged in a wide semicircle facing a raised dais at the front. and every seat was filled with vampire students to the left Nora had been cataloguing the room since she sat down.

And this is how the last story about Light and Darkness that I wanted to present to you ends. It was certainly an extraordinary journey, showing different stories, but at the same time touching the same topic - can two such opposing poles as Light and Darkness connect at some point? I'll leave it to your own choice, but one thing is for sure - as Miyuki said in Book 4, wanting to stop the battle between vampires and wizards - Light and Darkness certainly couldn't exist without each other. If there was only Light but no Darkness, what would be its meaning? Likewise, if there was only Darkness in the world, wouldn't its existence be pointless without trying to "devour" the Light?
