Novel & Cerita Halo The Flood Book

He ventured to pick it up with his hands but the temperature of the halo melted off his hand, up to his shoulder level, and while he was screaming in pain and agony, Theresa gave him a death blow, clamped the halo with the hook rod, and ran off. She opened a door which she wasn't familiar with, and noticed as soon as she got in that the place was a morgue. She spotted the body of a girl and immediately ran towards her. She felt her skin and noticed that it was beginning to turn cold - it mustn't have been long since she died, and without thinking twice, she turned the girl over and placed the hot, glowing halo on her back. The halo melted into her skin, and the injuries from the burn healed

It was peculiar that a flood was occurring, a topic I intentionally avoided discussing during the meeting to prevent further distress among the members. The Eclipse Pack resided in the heart of Mystic Red Town, with the main building atop a mountain. At the same time, several secondary structures, such as the omega's quarters and other community areas, were located in the lowlands. Despite being close to a waterfall, I had never imagined that flooding was possible because of the excellent drainage system until now. Not only were the expected low-lying areas submerged, but even two floors of the main building were affected, leaving me to wonder how much rain had poured down from the heavens.

My vision suddenly goes blurry. Although my ears were ringing, I heard Lucas’ faint and musculine chuckle. A moment later, hands were gripping me by the upper arm to help me stand, but my head was so heavy that it fell back. Chase. My bloody savior. But standing was an obstacle. I remain on the floor. Then I start to hyperventilate. It was like I was underwater; the haziness, the drowning voices, and the suffocating ache in my chest.

They or we? The other party that threw our world into chaos was the self-proclaimed animal welfare organization Live for Animals. In an act of charity they broke into Doctor Christopher Krynick's research laboratory to bring the animals to safety. Unfortunately they had no idea what was going on and a well-meaning rescue operation turned into a global catastrophe. The proles first killed their rescuers and then escaped from the research facility to bring a plague of unprecedented proportions to the world. When a hand came to rest on my shoulder and slowly brushed the back of my neck, I tried to ignore the tingling sensation. "You can leave that nice. I'm still mad at you. "

Janelle said. “I know, but they must know that tomorrow is that day.” Aunt Nancy told us. “ They feel that the blood moon is near?” I asked as we headed over to the back room. “Yeah.” Janelle said. They helped me into the room, and they got me onto the bed. As soon as I laid down, the kids calmed down. I sighed with relief as I hugged the pillow. “You feel better?” Erika asked and I nodded at her. “I’m going to get you something to eat.” Aunt Nancy said and walked out the room.

An obsidian stone is inside my seal, and the guards fall over themselves to let us inside once they know who I am. The wall is ridiculously tall, made of thick, reinforced steel. I crane my neck back, move my hair back to see it all. The portly guard pulls a lever, and a portion of it lowers. Clunky and groaning, the ice flys out, the gate forcing its way open. The gate lowers completely, warm water slowly trickles out, and the inside of Estate Eclipse is steaming. I grab onto Dante and he helps me past the blocks of ice until we cross the other side of the gate.

The pack blessed us two days ago, and truly welcomed us into their home by gifting us a house, a small hut like structure that looked out at the ocean and truly made us happy, but I find myself once more intrigued and needed to note my thoughts as the most bizarre scene unfolded at the blessing ritual when Alpha Amelie and Alpha Bernadette stepped up to offer their blessing as is custom here. Only instead of the words I had expected the sisters stood before us and clasped their hands together, they stood in silence and Julie and I watched in mesmerised fascination as fire and ice danced out from their joined hands encompassing the sisters in a halo of brilliant light. The two elements someho

Chapter 1 Dawn Ellery's point of view The neon sign outside my window flickers with the persistence of a dying star, painting my skin in sickly green pulses that match the throbbing in my temples. Room 13 — because the universe isn't subtle with its omens. I press my fingertips against the lipstick-marked mirror, feeling the static electricity spark between glass and skin. Three days in Vegas, and all I have to show for it is this cigarette-stained coffin of a motel room and the terrifying knowledge that something inside me is very, very wrong.

“There’s the Morton part.” The water rises another inch. Nell coughs against Hale’s shoulder. No one asks for a safer plan. For one second, the old shape of us almost returns. Then the hatches open and my face steps into the flood.
