Marcus slumped in his chair, blood blooming across his shirt. His men scattered instantly, panic breaking them apart.
I stood, slipping the gun back under my jacket. The music kept pounding, but the club had gone silent around me.
“Tell the city,” I said into the quiet. “Saint isn’t finished. He never will be.”
And then I walked out, smoke still curling in my wake.
Lucio drove me back, his hands tight on the wheel. “You just painted a target on your back.”
