Aliara: The Kingdom

Aliara: The Kingdom

That was caused by holding a bow for hours everyday. I kneeled in front of her to be on eye level with her and said, "Swords are still too heavy for your hands, Adrina. You are still not permitted to use this kind of weapon. Sword wielding is equal to death, the blade of a sword is death." I released her hands and transferred my hands to her shoulders. "I let you hold a bow so you can use it to protect yourself in times of danger. You can only hold a sword if you are truly ready. For the responsibility that comes along with handling a blade against your foe."

It lost me with amazement that it didn’t bother me, not until blood emerged from the tip of my finger. I shook my hand and wiped away my blood. It slightly stings. I blinked and saw a small figurine in front of me. It was smooth porcelain, molded with dark colors. It was a figure of Sojin’s kind. On its lap was a human being. The human’s head rested on its arms. It raised its right hand, holding a sword. It looks like he was trying to kill the human. The lines on my forehead appeared as I analyzed the symbolism of the object. I guess the sword pricked my fingers.

Alright. I have to say this. That twist got me. I thought the mirror reflection scene was just a plain old-used scenario, but I was surprised (in a good way) that Vad became a totally different person (gender). I find the POV funny. This book is well written and has an interesting opening chapter.

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame

he spoke with a rather pleased voice. As he walked towards, he extended one hand out into the void. His long arm was heavy with muscle and bare to the shoulder, as though he had cut the sleeves off his shirt. A tattoo of a chain wrapped around his arm from wrist to shoulder, spiraling up like a snake wrapped around the trunk of a tree. Suddenly he held a gleaming sword in his outstretched hand, even though he wasn’t holding anything just a moment before. My eyes widen. I didn’t know much about swords, but this didn’t look like a very good one. It was chipped and pitted, as though he had spent years cutting wood with it.

I really liked this book. Too bad it ends after 36 chapters and hasn't been added to in a couple of weeks. If y'all want people to pay to read your books, at least write something. This is the second book, this has happened with. I think I'm done with good novel.

The Queen Of Swords : Transmigration Of A Legend

The Queen Of Swords : Transmigration Of A Legend

She purses her lips in displease seeing everyone is leaping aside. 'Why in the hell would they leap away as if it's a vulture?! The sword is aimed straight and they could have just stepped aside from its way! Why would they do backflips and all? Is this a gymnastics class or what? And what's with that dude? Why is that guy breathing heavily as if he just escaped from a hunting lion?' She notices only a few guys just took a step aside and stood straight calmly. THUD! Her eyes follow the sound and see Parthib stopped the sword by holding it in his bare hand. The sharp edge has cut his palm resulting in bleeding.

He sighed deeply, contenting himself with a soft embrace, apologizing to her silently. And she, in turn, embraced him, and began to weep bitterly. She cried and cried, and he was content to hold her until she fell asleep with a turbulent nap that followed after a very long time. "Hold the sword with both hands," he ordered her tightly, watching her trying to carry it with one hand unable to lift it off the ground. "But you hold it in one hand." She grumbled, stubbornly "Its weight is heavy on you, so we start with two hands, then with time we move to one hand."

she answered her Yes with this, you will get rid of any form of fear in your body and you won't be fearless any longer in times of war Get me a sword, she ordered Naya Then she continued with her teachings using the sword as practical There are three basic ways to hold a sword you see across multiple styles of sword and swordsmanship. First is the Hammer Grip. You just hold the sword in a fist. This works best for cutting. Some swords, like the Indian tulwar or Viking swords, force your hand into this grip. Probably the most common grip is the Handshake Grip. It’s a bit more extended as if you’re shaking hands with the sword. This grip gives you better reach in both the cut and thrust and al
