Hannah's POV And just then, suddenly the pain stops. First, I stop, my heart still beating heavily. But it slows as I try to figure out if the moon goddess truly has answered my prayers or it's just the usual break the pain gives me. “Hannah—” “You can talk from outside.” I cut in to the voice of Lola. “Please… I have come with no harm for you or for Nathan… let me in…” ‘How about you letting her in? What's the worst she can do?’

He blurted out. Unknown to them, Hannah returned to get the headset that she had forgotten on the sofa. She's contemplating if she should leave. She stayed, listened, and heard everything. “What’s not to like about you?” She asks herself. Later that day… In Dallas prison… “NO!” Hannah answered with certainty. “I will not speak to the Monroes for you.” “Hannah!” Lani cried out. “Do you want me to kneel? I would.” She says pleadingly as she knelt on the other side of the glass. Her forehead touching the dirty floor, she looked like a slave begging for mercy from her master. Her eyes no longer convey an air of pride or ego.

Hannah’s POV Xavier's kiss was slow and demanding, drawing out all the right emotions in me. He led me away from Jackson's room and back to ours before carefully pulling my hose and plain white cotton panties down my legs. “Dear goddess, Hannah,” Xavier murmured, lifting my foot and biting the pad of my big toe. I gasped at the spark of electricity that shot through me and into my core. He left warm, soft kisses from my ankle up to my knee before lifting the other foot to do the same. I nearly climaxed when his teeth sank into the ball of my other foot.

Hannah pursed her lips and folded her arms across her chest. I smiled, looking at Hannah, who was sitting in front of me; she was like a cranky child who wasn't invited to go to the beach. I decided I would look into this matter as there was something missing and Hannah herself was unaware of this. Now that we are heading back to the US I'm more determined to keep her. AMBER’S POV My doorbell rang. “I think that’s Hannah at the door,” I muttered under my breath. “Come in Hannah.” Hannah came into the room with a tray of food in her hand. Hannah is older than me. Hannah is the oldest maiden out of the four maidens that served me, and also the most quiet of them all. Hannah is five foot nine inches tall and her fingers are also very long. Her eyes are still gold colored, which means she hasn’t taken the life of a human. Judging from her calm look, Hannah doesn’t look like one that could kill a fly.

“Auntie Julie”, she cried with tears threatening to spill from her bright eyes. “I don’t want to go to that school anymore!” Julie made the monumental decision to be the guardian of her late sister Mara’s beautiful daughter when she died shortly after giving birth to Hannah. Being a mother isn’t easy, even for a normal child and Julie knew this. The problem was that Hannah wasn’t a normal child, and Julie learned when Hannah was very young that she had a strange ability to just know things.

She launched herself in my arms and clung to my neck like a spider monkey, her feet off the ground as I bore the brunt of her weight. I stumbled back but managed to stay upright. “How have you been?” I set her down, peeled her arms off me, and stepped back. I liked Hannah but wasn’t in the mood to be bodychecked across the room. “Sooooo good.” She bounced from foot to foot. “I feel awesome!” Her pupils were blown, and her cheeks were flushed. She was on something. Probably E. “That’s great.” I glanced around. “I’ll see you later. I’m looking for someone.”
