A Hundred Million Mistake

A Hundred Million Mistake

But if I were to go back even further, to watch a life fade away before my eyes, I think, even knowing the outcome, I probably still would have reached out and taken that battered werewolf home. After a long silence, Eric looked at my calm face, and a pained smile twisted his lips, uglier than tears. "Sera, I still owe you an apology." I failed you, I hurt you. I'm sorry. I listened quietly, without responding, without expression. The alert signaling the end of the call time sounded. I put down the receiver, turned, and walked away without looking back. My future stretched out before me—bright, uncharted, and full of promise.

BOUND TO THE WRONG CALLAHAN

BOUND TO THE WRONG CALLAHAN

Memorized every detail. The way her hair caught sunlight. The paint smudge on her cheek. The happiness in her eyes. Happiness he'd destroyed. His thumb moved. Found her contact. Her name right there. One tap away. He could call. Tell her he was sorry. Tell her the truth. That he didn't mean any of it. That the painting wasn't a mistake. That she was never a mistake. His thumb hovered over her name. For five seconds. Ten. Twenty. Then he backed out. Went to the photo again.

THE BIKER'S ACCIDENTAL LADY

THE BIKER'S ACCIDENTAL LADY

From enslaving four million children permanently. Hope sat quietly during the flight. Staring at the temperature gauge. Watching it rise slowly. Inevitably. Toward the point where the reversal sequence would fail. "I am sorry," she said suddenly. Not to anyone in particular. Just to the universe. "I am sorry for what I did. For what I almost did. For being what Marcus made me." Damien put his arm around her. "You were a child. You were programmed. You were used. None of this is your fault."

Sorry, Too Late

Sorry, Too Late

He was given two choices—death and a life worse than death; he chose the former. Hazel and the others' faces turned even paler upon that realization. Regret alone wasn't the worst part of the toxic concoction of it all. The worst part was that they had finally woken up to reality, but it was too late. They wanted to make things right, but the person they needed to make it up to wasn't there anymore. That was what truly hurt. "Go… Hurry… If you wait any longer, it'll be too late!" Suddenly, urgent shouts came from outside the villa, along with the rumble of moving trucks passing by.

Accidentally Married

"What?" the word left his mouth quicker than he thought. "I am so sorry sir, I hope I did not make a mistake" Aletta was confident in herself. There was no way he wouldn't buy this. She was so embarrassed that she feared for her life and job. "You made a mistake," Joshua said again letting his emotions rule him. "I did?" she asked shocked. "I am usually very well composed when I drink or so I hear" she added the last part quickly in case he doubts the credibility of her statement.

I enjoyed the book even with the errors, however, I would love to help with that being a retired secretary that knows what it must be like trying to write under pressure. Hit me up, and I can help with the errors. The story was costly being a retired woman, but I loved the ending.

Just started this long asian novel (read7%). The story is interesting although the FL is dramatic and always overreacting. The chapters are too short so I'm still not sure where the story is going other than that they're newlyweds who are getting to know each other. Not sure if I'll finish.

A Naughty Mistake

A Naughty Mistake

Regina listened attentively, her gaze unwavering and her heart open to her daughter's pain. Regina's gaze remained soft and understanding as Vivian poured out her heart. When Vivian finally paused, her mother's words were a soothing balm to her wounded soul. "My dear, life has taught me that making a mistake doesn't make you a bad person," Regina began, her voice gentle but firm. "It's the choices we make after that mistake, the actions we take to make amends and grow from it, that truly defines our character." Vivian absorbed her mother's wisdom, finding solace in her words. Regina's experience and perspective offered a guiding light in the midst of her turmoil.

HIS FATAL SHADES (BOOK-TWO)

HIS FATAL SHADES (BOOK-TWO)

“Pray tell, what exactly you cannot be quiet about? When in reality, I was drunk to the point of being oblivious, but you? You could have stopped it. Anyways, maybe we were both drunk when the mishap happened. This is what I'll pretend to know.” “M-mishap?” Her heart raced again at the subtle hint he so very easily left for her to hold in the palms of her hand. How was it even possible? Could he remember what she did to him? “If you want me to spell it out for you, I will.” Sucking the stick, he nodded before letting the smoke circle him. “We must be barely in our conscious states to understand the immorality of the uncalled situation. We must have because there isn't any side where I could

Wish You'd Love Me

Wish You'd Love Me

In the recording, a woman's voice came through, apologizing. "I'm sorry. I've kept this secret for so long, but now I'm paying the price for my mistake… After I swapped the babies by accident, I kept wanting to speak out, but I was afraid. I thought I'd lose my job. The Gardners have power and influence—they could ruin me." After listening to the recording, there was an uncomfortable silence in the room. Sadie's face showed disbelief as she tightly grasped Clarissa's hand. Sadie's husband, Jimmy Gardner, rubbed his temples with a frown while muttering, "How could this happen? How could the hospital be so careless?"

Betrayed By My Husband, Bagged A Billionaire And An Empire

Jerry muttered, looking at her with a face full of regret, “I am so sorry all of this happened to you….” “Shut up! Shut up and do not talk to me!” she shrieked, covering her ears for a split second before glaring back at him, “Don’t you dare apologize to me and just get the hell out!” “I am sorry, Jules! I am so sorry for everything that happened in the past,” Jerry kept talking, his voice desperate as he tried to bridge the years of silence, “I didn't know back then. I swear I didn't know. Hilary manipulated me. She set everything up, she….”
