I sat down on the quilted blanket which covered her bed and looked about, taking in her neatly organised dressing table, the pile of books next to the small armchair which faced the window, and the thick, leather bound book next to her bed. I picked up the book and stroked the leather cover before I flipped it open and stared at the pressed flower on the page - a daffodil. Flipping through the book I noticed the pages filled with pressed flowers of every type, their names written in elaborate writing beside them. No matter what had happened over the years, a piece of April still remained in Harley and that made me smile. My phone rang and I set the book back, answering the call.

Harold was out and I was all alone inside the house. I walked upto the book shelf and checked the books he had in his book shelf. Most of them were of business and some were of Sherlocks books, don't wanna read detective books. There was no romantic books here. In such a big book shelf, there are only detective and business management books. I again thoroughly went through the books and found a yellow color old book, which was neither detectives nor business books. I pulled it out and read the title of the book. PARENTHOOD.

Alastor was at the stove cooking away, and Harriet had her face resting on the breakfast nook table. “Whatcha doing there, Hare?” I questioned her as I peeled off my jacket and plopped down beside her... Books were in various stacks all across the table. I picked one of the books up and recognized the name, Andre Armando. I glanced around; they were all Adre Armando’s journals. “How many years have you read?” “Too many.” Harriet partially picked up her head off the table and then let it fall back down with a dull thud.

Amon accusingly shouted at Harlequin who grinned at her. “Did I say that? Oh, what I mean is, I don’t have officials yet haha,” Harlequin said without an ounce of remorse that he have lied. “Well then, let’s continue our fight, now more seriously,” Harlequin announced as more pawns appeared in front of him.

I asked, my voice laced with curiosity. She let out a slight chuckle. “It’s not hard to spot a harlequin. Just as they have double skin colour, it's also in their eyes and a patch similar to their fur colour on their human skin. So you can always spot a harlequin anywhere.” I hummed, nodding at what she had said, lost in thought. How was I to find a harlequin, if Ruby a citizen of Dark moon pack has proven that there isn't any within the pack, how would I find it. Or was it in Blackwood pack.

The ladies all giggle and Julie stands, handing a new bookmark to each of us. "Yes. We figured we'd get you ones that suited you a little better." she says. The new one is dark blue with gold lettering that says 'Real men read dirty books'. I smile and look over at Ev who's showing Harper his excitedly. "These are great. Thank you." I say just as Bri nudges me. "Oh! Tell them your joke, love!" Harper says excitedly. Ev rolls his eyes before addressing the group.

Harold's minds brooded over the question as he wiped the books upon books clean and rearranged them; Celine Dazzle's ‘A trip on Brooms’, Mitch Flibberton's ‘Wolfaholic’ and so on. After neatly arranging nothing less than a hundred and fifty books, he slumped onto seat closest to him, gasping and dripping with sweat as the wind that blew from the window comforted him. As he sat, he wondered what Wilkes will be doing. Perhaps having a nap. Definitely, Trisha would have gone back to her hostel—maybe branched at the library to pick a book or two. Harold was still deep in his thoughts about his friends, the contest, Prof. Ericson, Mrs. Perry, Mr. Heathers and so on when a subtle vibration reached

<3 Unrelated: As this is a series, I already have book 2 and 3 planned... But how would people feel about a prequel at some point? Explaining the whole story of Harley’s mother's relationship with Alexander and what led to everything that happened before Harley contacts Ron for the first time? so basically Connie and Alexander falling in love, marrying, Connie's affair with Ron, the fall out, etcetc. The entire backstory! Let me know in the comments if the idea of a prequel sounds interesting!!
