My blood starts boiling. "Hey, Logan," I say with a frown. "What's Up, Nick?" The bastard replies with an arrogant smirk on his face. "That's Alpha Nick to you," I reply with a frown. "You are not Alpha yet, anyway. See you later, beautiful," The moron says and reaches and kisses her on the cheek. What the actual fuck? Since when are they so friendly? A low growl vibrates from my chest, and I see Mariah roll her eyes. Did she just fucking roll her eyes at me?

Harley groaned at her, stamping her feet on the concrete floor, making me think it was a habit she had. “If I'm siding with Catherine's daughter, what are you going to do about it?" El asked, poking Harley in the face. Harley gave a short sarcastic laughter, and suddenly, we heard the trigger of a gun. “Are you going to kill me? Have you forgotten you can't kill… “ "An elder, I haven't forgotten, but have you forgotten you were stripped of her title because you went after the wolves,” Harley said, her voice sounding devious; she is the devil.

Don't worry about me. How are you and Daddy holding up?" I ask, pretending to care, when in reality, I couldn't give a shit.

I muttered under my breath as I removed my helmet and took in the sheer number of bikes. “Impressive, isn’t it?” Nicholas asked, brushing a strand of messy dark hair out of his eyes as he removed his own helmet. “I suppose,” I replied. Although if I was being honest, I felt a little out of my element. Before I could protest, Nicholas grabbed my hand and began to lead the way, weaving through the crowd with ease. “Check this out,” he said, stopping beside a vintage Harley. “They only made a limited number of these in the ’50s.”

Harlow I climbed behind Cyrus on his bike and caught sight of the MC insignia on the back of his leather vest. It said "Bone Hills Howlers" around the figure of a wolf howling in front of a full moon. "I like your vest," I said. "It's called a cut," he replied as he revved the engine. "Helmet," he reminded me. "Safety first," I joked as I slid his helmet on. I leaned forward and grasped onto either side of his firm torso with my hands, breathing in a mixture of scents. Cologne and engine oil. Oddly comforting.

Long, golden-hair guy was the first to see me. He knew my name just like the rest of the guys at Ethan’s workshop. Maybe it was time for me to get to know them too since it looked like my life was going to involve bimonthly visits to fix up my motorcycle. “Hey guys, it’s Jay the Ghost Rider,” he announced. I waved at him, a little shy. Ghost Rider became my nickname after my third visit to the workshop. Everytime I came, there was something awfully bad about my bike.

I feel the air across my back as the swing misses me. “Excellent!” Alpha Michael says. Each of the four comes at me once, then it’s time to switch out. “Nickname, you’re up,” he says, making me grin. Yorick gave Zach that name because he’d given all of us nicknames. Zach HATES the name, but it stuck just as much as Hellfire, Shakespeare, and Landon’s Hercules. I didn’t know how they were chosen to attack, but now that I can see, I realize Alpha Michael is pointing to the person he wants to attack and giving them the gesture of arm or leg to attack with.

"Have a seat... feel comfortable." Harley nodded even though her legs wobbled. "Thank you, alpha." Nickolas nodded as he poured himself a glass and sat down. "Go on." "My name is Harley, and I work for Hoover's. I would like to report something about them... I couldn't let it sit in me without speaking up." Harley began. Nickolas's eyebrows twitched... he didn't understand what was going on, but if he did, he knew that Sam was a hoover. He adjusted the chair. "Alright, speak up."

Can you give this to Neo, I'm a huge fan,” Harley answered, starting to look perplexed by the sudden questioning. “Did she tell you her name?” I asked. “No….but she seemed to be in a hurry and kept looking behind her,” Harley said. “And oh…she had this fluffy hat on.” I looked down the road instinctively. Harley and his friend both looked at each other, then at me. “Is everything okay, Sir?” The other guy asked, looking worried. “No,” I said, turning away, “Get back to work and keep your eyes open for any suspicious activities.”
