One breached the perimeter they created and was creeping up on him. The guy was a powerful water elemental, who had crafted twin blades of pure ice. Harley didn’t think twice before launching herself in between the two of them. According to Brick, she had lost her mate when she was very young. Much like Nox and me, they were childhood best friends. The one solace we had was that they were now together again.

Do what I want, and I promise you that you'll get to touch her instead of just seeing her picture.” He said with a wide smile. He had never smiled like that before. We suddenly heard screeching tyres and turned. It was Archer and Ric. He immediately got out of his car holding a gun out, pointing it straight at Joker. Oh fuck, how did he catch up so fast? “You’re giving me orders?” “Moon had strong feelings for her.” Harley didn’t back down. “He’s like a brother to me. We all care but I know him best.” He paused, glancing at Joy, then back at Justice. “We’re going to have to keep him heavily sedated at all times if he doesn’t come back from what was done to him. He’s too lethal in his current condition to even be set free in the Wild Zone. Hell, I’m sure we can also agree that every male would prefer to be kept in a near coma than put the rest of our people in danger. She did get him to talk and he released her the second they were alone. He didn’t want to kill her.”

She likely knows nothing of Harley, of his past or his pack. But Jenny is her favorite, everyone knows it.

Joker raises his eyebrows while steepling his fingers, his eyes such a light blue that they almost look white. “Is the meeting adjourned? If so, I believe I will see Nick about adding a new addition. Queen, would you like to get some new ink?” Knowing that getting new ink was therapy for Quennie.

' Harley says, looking down at his paws. 'Sure, I may be jealous, but why has the Moon Goddess paired you with him?' A realization struck me. Harley was gay. ' 'You wanted Liam, didn't you?' Harley nodded and Liam seemed confused. 'I did,' Harley agreed. 'And you were mad that the Moon Goddess paired him with me instead,' I said, taking a step closer. 'Sorry.'
