Divorced by my Billionaire Ex, Now He Wants Me Back!

Divorced by my Billionaire Ex, Now He Wants Me Back!

191 Alex. I met Harold Price in a quiet café on the outskirts of the city, the kind of place that looked like it hadn’t changed in fifty years. The neon sign flickered faintly above the door, and inside, the smell of old coffee and worn leather filled the air. He was already there, a stack of folders beside him, his gaze scanning the room like he expected trouble at any moment. And with my life lately, that didn’t feel impossible.

HEAT BETWEEN THE LINES

HEAT BETWEEN THE LINES

She looked like a lie. Harold's office overlooked Central Park, its walls lined with bestsellers he'd shepherded to success over his thirty-year career. Emma's own books occupied a prominent shelf, their colorful spines a testament to Harold's careful guidance. He'd been more than an editor he'd been a mentor, a friend, the one person in publishing she trusted completely. "Please, sit." Harold gestured to the familiar leather chairs across from his desk. "I'm afraid I have some news that might come as a shock."

HIS ONE NIGHT, MY FOREVER

HIS ONE NIGHT, MY FOREVER

Her reputation scrubbed history until only what she approved remained. But no empire was built without casualties and casualties leave stories. I started small. Charities. Foundations. Trusts. Names that appeared and disappeared in cycles, shell organizations moving money like blood through veins designed to be invisible. I mapped them out, watching patterns form. Board members rotated, but one name appeared again and again not Estelle’s, but a man named Harold Finch. Former judge. Quiet resignation. No scandal listed. Interesting. I dug deeper. Finch had presided over three sealed family court cases involving children removed from biological parents and place

The wrong vow: I MARRIED MY EX'S SUPPOSED UNCLE

The wrong vow: I MARRIED MY EX'S SUPPOSED UNCLE

--- Gerald Finch. Victoria's longtime associate. The man Eleanor had recognized from a thirty-year-old company dinner, standing just behind Richard's shoulder. The man Maya had seen across a ballroom at the gala — gray-haired, still, practicing the specific stillness of someone who had spent forty years never being the focus — who had looked directly at her, inclined his head, and walked out before they could reach him. Not a new name, and is face was not new. A face that had been in every room she'd passed through, standing just behind whoever mattered, waiting for instructions.

I'M IN LOVE WITH MY BEST FRIEND

I'M IN LOVE WITH MY BEST FRIEND

He mumbled and slowly walked to his bed. * * Harley was still very much awake as he chatted with Jasper on a video call via his laptop. They talked about their next move and the recent successful operation. "So..... any other petty attack?" Jasper asked. Harley laughed it off. "No but I know who ever it was....is waiting for another good opportunity. And I, Harley Finley...will be waiting." Jasper laughed. "You've always been waiting. You are like the invisible wind. I have something important to attend to...."

The One He Chose

The One He Chose

Harold Walker stood in silence, watching the city stir awake in him. The sight should have been routine—another day, another set of meetings, another endless list of responsibilities—but something inside him thrummed with a sense of completion. He turned, and his eyes landed on a framed photograph sitting on his desk. It had been taken just weeks ago at the gala: Henry in a black suit, Evelyn smiling beside him, and Harold himself standing proudly at their side. He traced a finger in the glass, his heart swelling with pride.

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

When he came to Finn, Harold started with his coy and flattering smile, “Oh, hi, Mr. Baxendale! Your reputation precedes you! I’m honored to finally meet you, indeed, you are very talented and charming!” Gritting his teeth in agitation, Finn kicked Harold in the stomach and cursed, “Damn it! You’re Harold Wilson, right? How dare you offend Miss Moore’s guests! I think you need a beating!”

HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back)

HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back)

The black van cruised steadily along the outer-city highway, far from the crowded center. Its windows were tinted, the engine quiet, and two other vehicles followed at a measured distance, keeping to the same lane. Harold sat comfortably in the middle seat, one leg crossed over the other, his suit immaculate—as if he’d just stepped out of a business meeting, not fled the scene. He smiled in satisfaction. “I knew it,” he said lightly. A cigar rested between his fingers; one he’d been enjoying for some time now. He didn’t seem to care that the cabin felt stuffy despite the window being cracked open. His other handheld a phone, used to stay connected with a select few people.

Hi author can we shift the tone a bit, I feel like it’s getting repetitive I don’t think it’s necessary to keep bringing up about David, Natalie and Eli relationship and how it’s weird every chapter. It feels like I’m reading the same thing over and over again just worded differently.

The story is really good but I’m still in chapter 410. So not sure how much will happen in the next 600(and counting) chapters. I hope it’s not prolonged too much unnecessarily. I felt a bit cringe with the plot holes like the change in the name of Chase’s dad, or Daven saying Josh was 5 🥲

Bend me over, Professor

Bend me over, Professor

My family tree of disappointment gets confusing when everyone’s a controlling asshole. Harold’s study feels like a museum dedicated to dead white men with anger management issues. He’s behind his desk reading the Wall Street Journal like it contains the secrets of immortality. “Rough week,” he observes without looking up. “You could say that.” “I heard about your finance director. Unfortunate situation.” Unfortunate. Like firing the woman I’m in love with for treason is a minor scheduling conflict. “She was always suspicious,” Harold continues, finally setting down his paper. “I never liked how close you were with her. She had secrets.”

I don’t want him back: Divorcing the Billionaire

I don’t want him back: Divorcing the Billionaire

"There was someone. Harold Yates. He worked with my father for decades. Handled offshore accounts. Tax shelters. Money laundering." "Where is he now?" "Dead. Car accident twelve years ago. Drove off a cliff in Switzerland." Something cold settled in my gut. "They recover a body?" Four's eyes widened. "I do not know. I was not involved in the arrangements. My father handled everything." I turned to Mills. "Find everything on Harold Yates. Death certificate. Accident report. Autopsy. Everything." She nodded and her fingers flew across the keyboard. I watched Four's face as the implications hit him. If Yates faked his death, he had been planning this for over a decade. Hiding. Waiting. Building
