“How is Harry?” She asked him, and he paused, catching hold of the doorframe.
He shrugged, a muscle twisting in the corner of his jaw. “Still feeding the corpse blood, as if they think it will do something,” he said grimly. “There’s no sign of change, though Harry swears the hand-wound is looking better. Won’t let us look though. Won’t let anyone beyond the doorway, not even the ancients who come to donate. Harry will drink from them, and then feed the corpse themselves.”
