[ IN WHICH SHE FEELS PAIN AND POSSIBLY DEATH ] NOVEMBER’S P.O.V — Envy has exited the room. She has left us with threats and burdens buried deep in our hearts. The residents in the Grand Alkhemi are bothered with questions. They glance at the King, shooting him doubting looks. They are waiting for what his response would be. Would he step down or not? If he does, what does the future hold for the Kingdom of Alkhemi? Or would he eventually find a way to take down the seven deadly sins once and for all? We are all thinking these things, and still, no one opens their mouths to question the King. No one is daring enough to do it.

He said with a sinister smile, the boy could feel the change in the atmosphere and he looked ready to take flight, "I have a need for men like you. Not you" And with those words, he kicked the boy out of the cave, his screams going on for a few second before a dull thud resounded. He looked over at the small blob in the distance and he pouted. Another day, another useless death. He had to proceed with his plans no matter what that pompous Princess said. If she thinks she can get his kingdom from him then she's in for a big surprise. Death was coming to all royals and Lord Felfar Black would be the harbinger.

The second Mortar explosion swept through the air—its shockwave compressing the black mist into vaporizing fragments before they hit the ground. Alpha King and I moved simultaneously. We weren’t safe spectators in the center; we were the spearhead of the central line. My sharp claws flashed briefly as they reflected the dawn light. A gaunt-faced black wizards, his robe sweeping the ground, raised a staff adorned with obsidian stones. He chanted quickly. I closed the distance, slashing diagonally before the final syllable—a silver glow erupted, a sour smell suffocating. His body collapses, his spell shattering into a purple streak that dies like embers deprived of oxygen.

They were hiding from humans. Or what they used to be. They were now zombies, the whites of their eyes showing and moving like their bones were broken. Harver started to brim Demon Essence. His cards came out if his sleeve, hanging dangerously in the air. "Magic", the king gasped. Harver let the cards fly and in a minute, all of them were dead.

He told me about my hunt for this woman, and for so long, it has been lost on me who she could be. “Who is she?” I ask slowly, already feeling like my world is collapsing with just the look on Grey's face. “She’s the King’s mother," he breathes.

The air shifted the moment the door creaked open. Silence fell like a shroud, heavy and suffocating, and every man in the room rose to his feet. Their eyes flicked to the entrance, and in unison, they straightened their suits, stiffened their shoulders, and bowed their heads in reverence. The Ice King had arrived.

Leo said making his parents nod and his mother hug him. “We will, take care of the others and don’t forget to send us some news.” His mother Queen Veronica said. We all compress together as the king and queen with Demonica stand before us as they nod. We wait as King Levero pour the potion in a bottle on the outline of the circle making it glows really bright. Demonica closes her eyes and begin to utter the incantation making the part where we all are standing glow as bright as the sun. We all cover our eyes and some just close their eyes since the light is so blinding.

She poured milk and honey into each cup, then served them on the table. "Drink and eat. Let's talk after you've filled your stomach," Queen Lenna said softly. Astrid took a cup filled with honey milk and took a slow sip. It tasted delicious. Meanwhile, King Ruven opened the parchment that Albus had written and read it. “So you guys are looking for clues regarding Draco's Golden Heart. Humans named it The Heart of Magic. I'm sure you already know this fact. The question is, where is The Heart of Magic?" asked King Ruven, smiling.

“When the Veil falls. When the Forgotten Ones rise. And when the world needs a ruler who is neither human… nor cursed… but something in between.” He stepped closer. “Aria is not your enemy,She is your last hope to awaken the queen as well.” “And you?” she whispered. “What are you?” Harry smiled—sadly, almost kindly. “I am the shadow that prepares the throne.” Then he turned, vanishing into the dark. The headmistress sat alone, the chalice almost slipped from her hands. And for the first time, she wondered—who was she really fighting for? For three days nobody saw or heard from Harry.

He releases my hand just long enough to push open the heavy door. The room hits me like a wave. It’s warm and bright but somehow still feels cold. Healers rush around the bed, hands glowing with spells. The air is thick with magic, sharp, vibrating and frantic. And there, at the center of it all, is the King. His skin is ashen. His lips are stained red. His breath rattles like something scraping against stone. Each inhale sounds like a fight. Each exhale sounds like surrender. “Oh God…” I whisper before I can stop myself.
