said Fleur , rising to accompany her student. Her path was barred by Karim Khan and, thinking he wanted to talk to her about her sister, she sat down again. They were both silent until the wheelchair disappeared. "Why are you always in such a hurry to get away from me?" Fleur was tempted to say it was because she was afraid of him, but while she was curious to know what his answer would be, common sense told her to be careful. He could understand that interest, and since he was undoubtedly attracted to her, it was best to avoid anything that provoked it.

Now might not be the time to lecture her on women’s rights but while I’m arming myself, it's not like I have much more to do. “Our females are protected and so are our pups. I hate that females like you had to learn this stuff but today I find myself thanking the Goddess that you were sent here.” Flora gives me a small smile as she places a hand over her heart and looks down at the floor. “Fasten your boots, dear; I’d hate for you to fall and break your neck before you realise just how cherished you are.” Flora looks up and gives me another warm smile before turning her back on me and walking back towards her mate, theres nothing stopping me from running from the house now but I find myself

Flora was horrified, but her instincts as a mother protecting her child from harm instantly kicked in and she flew to Nadi’s side. Without thinking, she used the firewood she held in her hand to hit the arm that was trying to pull her daughter outside the cave. There was a scream of pain and the white arm withdrew. Flora immediately placed herself between the three sisters and her daughter, raising the sanaria branch in the air and threatening to hit any of the three sisters who attempt to step forward.

I screamed, pointing my hand at him, but he was surrounded by fierce fighters who were aiming to kill him. Xander walked up to me with two of his men and tied my two hands to the back. My mouth was covered with a thick veil, and my legs were bearing shackles made of Iron. Then Xander pulled me up and started dragging me away from the scene again. I shut my eyes, summoning my pureblood powers. It was the only choice left for him else I'd be taken away from Jeremy, and Jeremy might be killed by the men as they had overpowered him. I was gathering my powers when arrows started raining from a direction. It stroked each man surrounding Jeremy and pierced the hands of those pulling me away. They g

Smith walked towards the door with Chiyoko, while Flora shouted at her back, "Chiyoko, don't leave! If you have the guts, don't leave! Stop pretending to be pitiful!" "Enough! Haven't you already taken revenge?" Oliver held her close, but Flora remained uncalm, forcefully trying to pry his arms wrapped around her, yelling, "Oliver, let go of me! Why are you all protecting her? Why are you all falling for her tricks?" "I am not protecting her!" Oliver explained. Flora immediately burst into tears, continuing to struggle and curse loudly, "You heartless people! All of you are helping her!" After shouting, she lowered her head and bit down on Oliver's arm, attempting to make him let go!

“No, it’s not. Not for you. Not for your safety. You’re moving home tomorrow, and I need to know you’re protected.” His words held a possessiveness that made Flora's cheeks flush, but the underlying truth couldn't be ignored. He was right. She had let things escalate to a dangerous point, and a part of her was grateful for his intervention. Yet, another part of her bristled at the smothering control he exerted. This newfound protectiveness, while undoubtedly well-intentioned, bordered on infringement. “I appreciate you looking out for me, Damien," Flora began, her voice carefully measured. "I really do. But I need to be a part of these decisions. This is my life, and feeling safe doesn't mea

“I didn’t want any of this to happen. I didn’t know she’d go this far. But I care about Anne, as your Luna, only. Let’s just find her.” “Care about her?” I scoff, my voice dripping with disdain. “If you really cared about her, you would have kept your distance. You’re no better than Flora.” The room feels electric with tension, every breath a battle. I release Flora, who slumps back into her chair, her eyes wide with fear. “You better pray I find her unharmed,” I warn, my voice low and dangerous. “If anything happens to her, Flora, you’re finished.”

It will only take me a few long strides to reach the car, but before I get there, Fleur opens the door and jumps out of the car. The shock of it causes me to halt, but then she shifts and runs into the trees. What the hell is she doing? I growl to myself. Without thinking it through I shift and race after her. ‘Get Rieka and the kids all together and keep them safe!’ I send to the guards as I disappear into the woods following Fleur’s trail. I never should have trusted wolves outside my own pack with the safety of my family!
