I really liked the idea of that. I was standing in front of the ferret cage. They were such interesting creatures. Almost like a cross between a cat and a squirrel, they chased each other and slinked around playing hide and seek. They looked like they might be fun pets, but a lot of work. I was happy with my Coco. I leaned down to pet her head. She was very calm. I had thought a dog from the pound might be an excitable pet, but she was so good, almost like she was made for me.

So my fingers desperately clutched the cage before I turned and faced the boy who had noticed me here and he looked surprised, his eyes wide but as he tried to get closer the animal next to me growled deeply. This has to be a wolf. It can't be a dog. "What is this?" I asked him as I looked back at the wolf, and carried on looking into its eyes, finding it difficult to look away for too long. "It's an... overgrown husky," he told me and I raised an eyebrow and looked at him skepticallly. "An overgrown husky?" I asked him, repeating the words slowly so that he could hear himself and he nodded, seeming more confident but I didn't believe him.

A bear’s pelt, a crocodile’s skin, and coconut tree’s woven leaves—a peculiar hut lived by an equally eccentric witch and her son. A ten-year-old Merlin was skipping his small feet towards their hut. His mum was waiting for him after he spent most of his afternoon nap time at the coven’s cemetery near their home. Though covered with mud and grime, Merlin’s twinkling flaming red eyes glittered with a ring of silver around his iris were beaming with happiness. In his arms was a small wolf cub, its black and white tails wagged as its eyes were unfocused.

Or they are hiding something. Harry was wearing knee-length jeans. He briefly kissed Manny's forehead, whose innocent body was covered by a thick blanket. Harry smiles with satisfaction… 'she makes me addict to her body, minx!' 'She is our second chance mate. I am happy… 'Replied the wolf. 'Indeed. I want a puppy.' 'Twin. I want a twin puppy!' I say, stressing the 'sir'. It is a big wonder, that a warlock is head over the entire school… "Feisty. That I like." Principal Eldor smirks, bringing out his wand. My legs instinctively move backwards, he burst into laughter. "...oh, my my. Little Hermione is scared. I didn't think I'll get to see the day where the Phoenix is scared." He jeers, laughing loudly. Phoenix. Phoenix?!! "How did you...You just called me..." "Phoenix? Oh yes, who wouldn't know?" He smirks, appearing in a flash before me. I opened my mouth to scream, but nothing, only a gasp escapes my mouth.

So, instead of letting instinct take over I turn into the next animal that I hear yelled out. Next, I am a mongoose running in circles. This form is kind of fun. Granted, I am still red but nobody seems to care about that as I run up to them all. When I see Scarlett I run up to her, turn into a ferret and climb up her to lay on her shoulders. I forgot that ferrets are blind but with my added awareness due to my witch blood and the ferret's natural abilities, I have no problems knowing what is going on or where I am at.

I don't even have to think it and the iron reaches out, snatching the wolf from the air mid-leap and smashing it to the floor before it can attack Vuko. Vuko's eyes widen. I'm Fer, says Fer. Dammit I never knew she had a sense of humor.

That would end the fun. “I’ve got a surprise for you.” I tittered, unhooking the small container I’d brought along from my belt. The plastic lid, perforated with holes, popped right open. A single hairy leg stepped out, followed by eight others. Malik’s favored tarantula stepped onto my hand, and I grinned down at the little thing. “Her name is Rosie, but I call her sassy pants because she enjoys biting werewolves a little too much.” Harriet’s eyes went wide, shimmering with the deepest, most pure sort of fear. My abilities had been right after all.

Carrel spoke after Luka pressed the ‘complete task’ on his menu. A screen popped up in front of us and a list of items was displayed. Seeing one item listed, I quickly accepted the items and a baby kitsune appeared. I didn’t pay attention to the gold pieces we earned or anything else. My focus was solely on our new pet. It was the cutest little fox that I have ever seen. It was a bright magenta, similar to the color of the tips on my real hair. The Kitsune had black on its ears and tail as if it had been dipped in black paint. A little black heart was under its right eye.

I walk in and don't wait for them to say a word before pulling my mate to my shoulder leaving her gaping at my action.
