“Harry,” Sigrid whispered kneeling beside them.
“He is cold,” Harry did not look up. They rocked slightly, as if soothing Jules into his eternal sleep. “He is so cold.”
“Yes,” she reached out to smooth her hand through the blonde hair. They had bleached it, lightening their natural glossy gold to give the sun-touched look of Talen’s hair, but recent events had left a band of regrowth at the roots. “Harry, look at me.”
