Harry Potter Magic Spells Novels & Stories

"I don't wanna talk about it..." Dan took the spare seat at the opposite end of the table and sat down, "If you tell me about it, I might be able to help." I couldn't help feeling embarrassed, "I don't wanna talk about it, but can I ask you something about magic?" "Of course, I'll answer it if I know." "Is there magic that can mess with someone's head or heart?" "From what I've learned so far, I've heard about some alchemy potions that can do exactly that, but for magic, only an item with a spell cast on it can do something like that."

- the words that come out of the witch's mouth seem to have an echo, reverberating around us. — With blood and fire I Thee send ...With blood and fire I Thee send ... —To the place where you belong… Where you belong... — Hoping that my future bends ... I see shooting stars fall, they descend like raging balls of fire. The world convulses, the walls of the Villa seem to close in on us, thunder, lightning and sparks rain down, the witch and my lord writhe in pain as the fire is replaced by a blinding red glow. — Se agapó mikrí mou mágissa . – I hear my lord whisper and my vision blurs.

She takes a few hesitant steps back, her gaze brimming with growing terror. “You… you’re not our mother,” she whispers, her voice trembling with fear. She turns and runs toward the old woman for protection. A smile tugs at my lips. Ah, how sweet it is to see terror blooming in these helpless creatures. “You got that right, brat!” I declare, letting the spell burst forth from my hands in waves of undeniable power. The old woman and the children don’t even have time to react; the magic strikes them with a subtle yet precise force, like a venomous dance that envelops them, plunging them into a deep, unbreakable sleep.

Far down the pass, an explosion ripped through the snow, and the air filled with the scent of scorched flesh. From the smoke, more figures emerged — but these weren’t Bloodforged. They were guild fighters. Harlow was at the front, sabers gleaming. “Step away from him!” Varrow’s smirk didn’t falter. “Ah. The cavalry.” In the chaos that followed, Killian caught a flash of Daryl’s hand — slipping something small and dark into Varrow’s pocket before stepping back. A seed of magic. Timed magic. Killian realised it just as Varrow’s cloak flared, blocking his sight — and when it dropped again, both Varrow and Daryl were gone.

Cam snorts out a laugh. “That’s fair. Well it’s an easy enough spell to break. I made the magic dissolvable and of course I used something I had handy as the trigger. So all you need to do is tip a little whiskey over it.” She explains. Well of course. Why wouldn’t the bartending Witch make spells that can only be broken with alcohol? I thank her and say my goodbyes while Bellamy heads to the kitchen to grab a bottle of whiskey he must have kept in one of the higher cupboards. I’ve already looked in all the ones I can reach while attempting to cool so I know they weren’t full of booze. He returns and I take the bottle and carefully tip a capful of whiskey over Harry’s hand. We all stare, wait

I eat something and then walk back to the living room. “Alright, let’s work on your spell and potion skills,” she said to me and we began practicing with small spells like summoning and disappearing things or people, teleporting ourselves and others, turning things or people into anything you want, and then a little harder spells and potion like love spells and potions, protection spells and making a shield around our self or another person or things.

The heat from his chest pressed against my back, steadying my racing heart. His words were the catalyst. My magic rushed to my fingers, and I nodded once before I whispered the spell I needed to hold the ceiling at bay. “Ictor hedlin hor neflin bak co fash.” My magic raced through the cracks like water. It flowed upwards, and I felt the tendrils weaving a net to hold back the rocks. I could feel how unsteady it was, and my mouth grew dry. There was no way I was going to be able to do this.

I had never seen nor knew anything about the magical world until I met Hope. "This potion," Hannah said, handing me a vile. "Mimics, hope freezing power. This one will make you temporarily invisible should you get in a tight spot. And this one will create a patorl for you all to escape back here." "Now for the spells." Lida said, handing me 3 pieces of paper. "The first one here will revile the Sorceress layer, but once you use it, it works both ways. Whoever is there will be able to see you as well. The next one you will use to open the lock on Hope's cell and remove her restraints. The last one will allow the 3 of you to float like Cordia dose."

Each school has its own set of spells and techniques, allowing mages to specialize in a particular branch of magic or become versatile practitioners with a broad range of abilities. Mages are typically portrayed as intellectuals who rely on their intelligence, intuition, and extensive knowledge to cast spells and perform magical feats. They often spend years studying ancient texts, learning complex rituals, and mastering the intricacies of spellcasting. Mages are known for their ability to manipulate the fundamental forces of the universe, bending reality to their will through the use of incantations, gestures, and the power of their minds.
