“Place your hands here and repeat this incantation: 'By the power of knowledge and life, I ignite the spark within my core- Let the magic flow forever within my soul. Grant me what I ask and more!'” I placed my hands in the over sized alcoves and shook off my nervousness. “By the power of knowledge and life- I ignite the spark within my core- Let the magic flow and soar- Grant me what I ask and more!” I felt a strong surge of magical energy and gasped from it, feeling overwhelmed and elated at the same time. Glass Arrow Annihilation, Chains of Agony, Soul’s Doom, Drop of Life, Frost Fire Surge, Shadow Frenzy, Eternal Inferno. Mix the spells to make more powerful attacks. I took a step back a

I took a deep breath and released it, trying to relax so I could feel my magic. I felt the familiar thrumming of energy within me, but it pulsed with an unusual weight tonight, reluctant to respond. I closed my eyes, focusing inward. The whispers of my magic grew louder, drowning out my thoughts, and I gritted my teeth, willing the magic to flow. "Please," I muttered, pouring my intention into the spell. I envisioned a warm light surrounding Aric, a protective barrier to break whatever held him there. But the magic remained stubborn, slow to react.

I can’t turn my brain off, and being distracted for this sort of spell can be dangerous. “Okay,” I start, opening my eyes and looking at the orange cat who’s sitting on the couch next to my father. “Scott, take a seat in front of me. Stay quiet and still while I do the spell.” Growling, Scott moves from the couch to the circle. I put the two remaining ribs on the ground in front of me and hold out my hands, magically lighting the candles, and look down at the book in my lap. “Tolle quode est, et mutare eam.” I sprinkle a bit of the ground-up herbs on the candle closest to me. The flame burns bright blue, and I can feel the magic working. “Tolle quode est, et mutare eam,” I repeat and sprinkl

Daisy hurriedly explained. "You're wasting my time. I think I have to do this." He said and I turned to face him 'cause I didn't understand what he wanted to do. Turning back to look at him, I inhaled some sort of powder and my thinking changed. "Will you follow me now?" Sage asked with a smile. "Yeah, sure." I answered and gasps filled the air. "Sage" Morgan roared. "You know black magic is forbidden in this kingdom. How dare you use it?"

It was probably something against me or whatever. As I was getting ready for the meeting for people interested in magic I was practicing with my magic and getting even stronger with my spells. I only knew three spells so far but I knew if I kept practicing I could learn more soon. I was really getting into the one spell that allowed me to make a shadow servant who could go into the shadow of a person I either picture in my head or say their name. It at first could only hear what is happening and briefly affect the area around them but since I was getting stronger with my magic they could now increase the number of people I could spy on and freeze their shadow for one minute.

"A baby? That can't be me, right?" "Don't ask me. How would I know?" …This guy is full of mystery. Forget it. Once his memory returns, I'm quite sure that he would tell me everything. "Ehem, back to our topic," I said. "What you read just now is a magic spell." "Magic spell? What is that?" "Magic spell is an incantation, a spell, a charm, an enchantment or a bewitchery, it is a magical formula intended to trigger a magical effect on a person or objects by consuming mana— Restia."

She fastened her gaze on Dominic as the wizard got ready to cast the spell. “Drakmarata numidus,” he called out. He didn’t really need to voice the spell out loud—his centuries of mastering the waziri magic had long ago rendered that unnecessary for most spells—but he did it for Leesa. At the same time as he uttered the magic words, he waved his right hand slowly across his body in front of him. Behind his hand appeared a tall swath of darkness so black Leesa could see nothing inside of it. Dominic had effectively disappeared in the blackness.

"The first spell I'll teach you is a defensive one. Watch closely, I'll cast it slowly so you can see every detail." Instead of simply conjuring the magic, I decided to go the extra mile. I meticulously drew the intricate magic circle in the air, each line a precise power stroke. Then, I uttered the ancient chant, my voice resonating with the raw energy of the spell. "This basic magic circle," I explained, my gaze sweeping over their eager faces, "is the bedrock of all magic. It's the foundation upon which every spell is built. By modifying it and adding your unique touch, you can shape it to cast any magic you desire. That is the true essence of magic."

“You will not change in appearance if you become a witch and broomsticks are optional, though they don’t help you fly.” I let out a sigh of relief. “Then what spells are there?” I then ask. Tapping his lower lip, Bucky lists off the spells he knows. Some of them are the usual curses, but there are a couple that heals or cure things, too. Though a common trend in many of these ‘spells’ is that one needs a list of items in order for the spell to be effective. Then there is something about a familiar and a few other things I don’t really understand. However, some things Bucky tells me does sound super fun.

The girl opened the parchment. She at Mr. Knudlac a little surprised. "It's the same text," she told him so resignedly. "It means that I too will have Domandi Aqua..." Professor Knudlac smiled again. "Dear Elizabeth, until you read the same text of your parchment, I want to tell you something more. You've probably noticed that apart from the spells we can learn in school, such as Procidat Deceptionem, Inpulsa or Evanescet, magic that anyone who studies hard our teachings can grasp, maybe even a sceptic, there are other magic tricks too ... a little more special."
