“Oh, I might have forgotten it yet again,” he paused, searching for terms out of the blue. Feeling her confused gaze on him, he clarified, “Oh, why, a stool, of course. The last time we met, I promised to bring it for you. Did I not?” There was a little smirk on his face, which she did not fail to notice. “Seeing our height difference,” a grin broke over his smirk-filled lips. “At least it would have made you a little bit taller.”
Hearing him, her eyes were blazing with fury at his audacity! He was making fun of her height again!
