BLUE MOON
I stop a few feet away from him, his eyes trail from my head to my sneakers then brings one hand towards me, grabs a handful of my hoodie at the hem, and tugs until I’m standing between his spread knees.
Keeping quiet, I stare at his neck.
Why can’t I bring myself to look at him? The more time I spend in his presence the more I feel the urge to smile like a loon or hide my red cheeks.
“Princess…” he drawls out.
My stomach both tightens and flips around when he says that, when he calls me princess.
“Why do you call me that?” I murmured my eyes catching his.
He arched an eyebrow “Call you what? Princess?” he pulls me closer until I’m practically on his lap.
