I don't have a defence. "I really do mean it. I am sorry" I say being truthful. "I don't care. " He says smiling at me. " I do care to know why you're sitting alone though." He says and I shrug."Yeah, sure that means something to me." He says smiling. "I don't like parties, loud noises, strangers, crowds." I say and he sighs. "I hate to break it to you but you came to the wrong place" He says and I shrug again.

He continued driving and we are not talking anymore. "I don't like him. I don't like Justin and I don't think he likes me too." I answered because that's true. I can only find him as my friend. A work mates. "Looks like you are sad about that he doesn't like you, huh?" Mr. Woods uttered sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and made a face. "I said I don't like him." I reasoned out. "Tss," "I already like someone else." I uttered and tried to looked away.

She dropped the bomb, and I broke away from her grip. I shook my head. “No, no, that's not true; he doesn't like me.” Mumbled. That just can't be true. How can he like me and treat me like the way he does? No, that can't be true.

“Chaise…” “I know!” He heaved a frustrated sigh. “You can’t, right?” I nodded. “Alice… why not? Is it me? Is something wrong with me, you couldn’t like me?” “I like you,” I said. “Just not…” “Not like me, like me,” he finished for me, sighing heavily again.

“At least that’s one role I won’t fuck up.” I turn to gauge Sandy’s reaction to my comment, but I see her frowning at the bed. I follow her gaze until it lands on the bloody area that was the evidence of my pain from the night before. Then she glances at the mate mark on my neck. “The fuck?!” She angrily whispered as I felt the bed shift to indicate her rising. “I’m going to kill him!” “Please don’t!” I cry, grabbing her hand to prevent her from leaving. “He hates me enough. Your interference will enrage him further!”

I quickly sat up while biting my lips, trying to suppress a smile to form on my lips. "No... I don't like you..." he said, and my world stopped spinning; my smile faded and my shoulders drooped down in dismay. He doesn't like me? He doesn't like me. He doesn't like me. He doesn't like me. Those words echoed in my head like a song. "What?" I let out and felt my tears well up in the corner of my eyes. I can't face him. I was too embarrassed. All this time I was assuming things I shouldn’t have.

,he whispered near my ear I don't like how I'm so susceptible to his words and touch I exhaled slowly "So stop worrying your ass over that ,I'm all yours" I looked at his surprised "What do you mean yours?",I asked He shrugged "However you want to take it , do" I struggled with a smile , no it's not what I'm thinking , calm down "Why do I feel like whatever it is you're feeling for me is just out of sympathy" He smiled "You should know me pretty well by now that I don't show emotions , unless when necessary and I'm definitely not a person that would channel feelings into sympathy , I'll rather keep it plain and tell you the certitude, I like you ,not anyone else ,and not because of sympathy

He watches me closely from head to toe and I couldn't feel more uncomfortable. A small growl comes out of his mouth before he chews a—: I like you... so much. Does he likes me? So he wasn't disappointed in what he saw, he liked it, but I shouldn't be happy about it. It's not something I should feel good about. It was much better not to like him, so he would leave me alone because I don't think he wants to mess with someone he doesn't like, do I?. . . So, is it good or bad? It feels good to say that, but I don't think it'll do much good if I want to get away from him.

That was something. “Are you always this cold?” I asked abruptly. “Cold?” He asked with a narrowed look. “Yeah. Sometimes I can’t get through to you.” He laughed, low and soft. It was the kind of laugh that made me blink. “That’s a first,” he said. I then leaned in a little, and lowered my voice. “You could warm up a little, you know. People might actually like you then.” “I’m not interested in being liked.” “Then what are you interested in?”
