The Healer and The Beast

The Healer and The Beast

"And Sena—create your own legacy. Let your mother's go. Don't try to dig up the past anymore. Focus on your future, on your child, on building something new." Sena had hugged them both, promised she would, and watched them leave with something that looked like relief mixed with sadness. One funny thing I'd noticed recently—Sena's healing magic seemed to be growing stronger. Exponentially stronger. Deep scars that should have taken multiple sessions to heal were disappearing after one treatment. Illnesses that should have required days of care were cured in hours. And she no longer felt weak afterward. No longer drained or exhausted like she used to be. It was

Healing The Broken Alpha

Healing The Broken Alpha

Just as we neared the cab, I heard the mansion door slam shut, the sound echoing ominously. I stopped in my tracks, sensing Ellis flinch beside me. I already knew who it was. Steeling myself, I turned around. There he stood—a wounded man. Not physically, though. His casual clothes were fine, and while he was upset, there were no visible injuries. But I could see it—the pain, the inner turmoil. He was bleeding internally, emotionally. His anguish was palpable, and it explained the oppressive sadness surrounding this place. Alexandria whimpered in my mind, recognizing his wolf’s pain. We knew it all too well.

Where fear ends

Where fear ends

“But I want you to know I’m still in this.” “I do,” I whisper back. He kisses my forehead, and I feel the tremble in his lips. And I know. This is how healing begins. Not in grand declarations or rushed moments—but in small, sacred ones. Like the touch of a hand. Like the weight of a kiss on skin that once flinched and now welcomes. Like two broken hearts choosing—day by day—to find their way back. Together.

When Darkness Embraces Forbidden Fruit

When Darkness Embraces Forbidden Fruit

_*]:min-w-0 gap-3"> If anything it was larger for being said. More present. More his, paradoxically, for being acknowledged as the thing it was rather than the thing he had been routing it through. It was not professional warmth or fraternal concern or the healer's appropriate care for the beings in his charge. It was love. It had always been love. Saying so had not changed its size, had only changed his relationship to its size, moved him from inside the container of pretending to outside it where the actual dimensions were visible. _*]:min-w-0 gap-3"> He stood with the actual dimensions visible and felt them and did not collapse under them. _*]:min-w-0 gap-3"> His

Wild Enough To Heal

Wild Enough To Heal

"Your heart took too long between beats last night. We caught it on the monitor. If you'd been asleep—" "I wasn't." "Haley." "I was awake. I'm telling you I was awake all through the night." "That's not the point." "Then go straight to the point." She clears her throat. "Your body is changing faster than your medication can keep up with. I walk to my window and lean on the sill, watching a woman lace her daughter's shoes below. "Come in tomorrow. We'll run new tests and adjust the dosage." "I'll think about it." "Thinking isn't going to—"

AFTER THE DIVORCE, THE ALPHAS MADE THEIR CLAIMS ON ME.

AFTER THE DIVORCE, THE ALPHAS MADE THEIR CLAIMS ON ME.

“Not completely.” “Trust is not required for healing,” Maera replied. “Presence is.” I rubbed my arms, suddenly very aware of phantom touches. Of heat. Of how alive I felt when they were near. “And if I don’t?” I asked. “Then you heal slower,” she said honestly. “And remain vulnerable.” Silence fell between us again. Finally, I straightened my spine. “Then I’ll train.” Maera nodded. “Good.” She handed me a small pouch containing some herbs. “This will help cleanse your system. Drink them nightly.”

Billionaire's Rebound: A story of Healing and Love.

she whispered, her voice a soothing melody filling the room. I reached out and clasped Carla's hand, reassured by her touch. I pulled her closer, engulfing her in a comforting embrace. "Carla, I owe my recovery to your tender care and love," I declared, my voice filled with gratitude. "I don't know what I would do without you." In an instant, Carla's eyes widened, and the color drained from her cheeks. She suddenly got up from her sit and staggered backward, losing her balance, almost collapsing to the floor.

The Mates’ Vengeance

The Mates’ Vengeance

I scanned his body in a single breath, the wolfish instincts guiding me to every part that required attention. The healing process unfolded seamlessly. My hands, an extension of an ability rooted in the mystical, moved with purpose. Every touch sent waves of curative energy through Jake's form, knitting together the threads of vulnerability. The room, once a backdrop to the intimate dance of survival, now bore witness to a silent exchange of life's regenerative power.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Her voice cracked softly. And underneath the anxiety sat something deeper. Disappointment. Because healing sometimes felt frustratingly non-linear. Adrian reached slowly for both her hands. “Elena.” She looked at him through overwhelmed eyes. “Healing isn’t becoming immune to pain.” His thumbs brushed gently across her shaking fingers. “It’s learning you can survive it safely now.” God. The sentence wrapped around her chest tighter than the panic itself. Adrian stayed steady in front of her while rain-cooled wind moved softly through the balcony.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.
