Heart Of The Sun Warrior Novels & Stories

His voice was calm. “But I want to be better,” he said. “And this time… I mean it.” Something in my chest shifted. “I don’t care about the past anymore,” he added. “I just want to do right by you. I want to be your husband… and the father of our child.” My throat tightened. Tears filled my eyes before I could stop them. I hated this. I hated how easily I could break. Maybe it was the pregnancy. Maybe it was everything. Or maybe… it was him.

Thankfully we all were soldiers, trained for all kinds of situations, but what they never train you is how not to feel betrayal. The moment I heard his laughter and after his voice was the moment my blood boiled. The asshole had the nerve to appear and try to taunt me. "Now… now Mattie boy. Come now, tell your men to put down their guns as you already know, are outnumbered and you don't stand a chance. So be smart about this and surrender." His voice was loud as it sounded cheerful and powerful drawling a scowl onto my face. I looked at my team asking them silently as they want to do.

My hands worked away as I began to massage the almost-cold heart. Lyra released some vitality into the heart, all the while pretending that she was only massaging it. If she had been directing me to do this, the warrior would have been long dead. It was a good thing she took over when she did. We nearly lost him. “I need a thread and a needle. Also get me…” I listed everything I needed to stitch the warrior up after the heart seemed to have returned to good condition. To my utter dismay, both Madam Zorah and her girls just stood there and watched me like I was crazy.

I stood on the highest branch of the Sun-Spire—now inextricably woven into the limbs of the Heart-Tree—and watched as the golden figures began to materialize. They were the Aethel-Guard, the elite soldiers of the Fifth Brother, Solis. They weren't shifters, but beings of pure, solidified solar energy, encased in armor made of white-dwarven steel. They didn't walk; they hovered, their blades hummed with a thermal frequency that threatened to ignite the very air. "They're burning through the canopy, Emma!" Félix shouted.

From a distance, they saw a large crowd, all of whom were Huaxia warriors. There were many people on Country Y's side as well, some of them were warriors from Country Y while most of them were warriors from Country M. These people looked very arrogant with disdain in their eyes. "These Huaxia warriors are as small as monkeys, haha..." A well-built warrior from Country M let out an ear-piercing ridicule, holding a golden sword in his hand. From the conversations of the surrounding warriors, Chu Xun learned that this man was named Hoffmann, a candidate of the Son of God for the Holy Temple of the Sun in the west. He also learned that Hoffmann could use the power of the sun and was very powerfu

It was glowing so brightly now that it was burning through the fabric. I pulled it out. The shard was a pure, blinding white—the Heart of the First Alpha. "Hallowed Army!" I roared, my voice carrying the weight of the Balance. "The night thinks it has won because it has a throne! But we have the sun in our blood! Do not look at the shadows! Look at the person beside you! We are the Blood-Moon! We are the Dawn!" The ten thousand wolves let out a roar that drowned out the wind, the sea, and the whispers of the dead. Their gold eyes flared, and as one, they shifted.

The sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows over the rugged landscape of Thornheart territory. The air was crisp, the scent of pine mingling with the earthy aroma of damp soil. Darius Thornheart stood at the edge of a cliff, his broad shoulders squared against the wind, surveying the expanse of his pack’s land. He was a powerful warrior, revered among his people not just for his impressive combat prowess, but for his unwavering determination to protect them. The weight of leadership pressed heavily upon him, the future Alpha of the **Thornheart Pack** with the responsibility of ensuring their safety.

The warriors howled with joy, charging forward for their Alpha. Running in line with them, Heartman felt joy seeing their genuine commitment. As they journeyed to the last spot they missed, Caine, the pack warriors' leader charged forward, leading them on the difficult quest for Luna Nathalie.

The poor man looked completely horrified now. “Please Alpha…” he whispered weakly. I stared at him emotionlessly. “Take him away,” I ordered calmly. “Kill him.” “Please… please don’t kill me,” the warrior begged desperately, dropping to his knees in front of us. His injured body shook violently as he pressed his palms together. “I swear I can help you. I know where Roman is hiding. I can help you get his head, Alpha. Just… Please spare my life.” “It seems cowardice runs through the entire Sun Pack,” I said coldly, shaking my head in disbelief as I stared down at the warrior. “Then again, I guess it makes sense when they’re being ruled by a coward too.”

“Our lands have been plagued by unknown creatures from unknown locations. They’ve destroyed packs, they’ve destroyed families and as your Alpha, I said no more! We shall defeat one enemy at a time. We shall strike on the RedClaw pack for daring to kidnap one of our own.” Growls. I raised my voice, letting my rage shimmer. “No more hiding. No more silence. No more waiting. And no more pleading.” I felt my eyes burn crimson, watching the warriors hail, each rising higher with every word I said. “We are the FireHeart Pack— born of ash, reborn in fire, and we do not bow!” The wind picked up, carrying my words over the lands. I saw mother giving a nod of approval, and this seemed to enlighten me
