Hurray! Book one has finally ended and I am so excited. However, I am sorry to break your heart about the suspense. I know I left you hanging, but you can still find out what happened in BOOK TWO titled HEART OF THE HEARTLESS. It will come soon, and I will announce the date soon. For now, I need to focus and write my final exams and I promise you it's going to get better in book two. However, I did not end BOOK ONE because of the exams or school. This is how I wanted to end it to make up for a better BOOK TWO.

After all, I had only just turned 30 years old, and I was still young enough to do the things I'd always wanted to do. At that thought, a warm smile appeared on my lips as I hailed a cab to get to the animal rescue center. Back when I was still in college, I had originally planned to work with stray animals at animal rescue shelters because I had always had a deep connection with animals. When I was little, I had two childhood pets—a dog named Goldie and a cat named Mimi. Mom told me that Goldie and Mimi used to be complete rascals before I was born, wandering the streets and playing outside all day. They were such a fierce duo that the rest of the animals in the village were scared of them.

JARED'S POV I sat in my room, my laptop on my desk as I attempted to get started on my now piling mountain of homework and essays due. You'd think that being in my third year, I would have less homework but that's not the case. Anyway, technically, my homework wouldn't be piling up if I hadn't neglected it to research Rory. Ever since Albert mentioned the possibility of her being a dormant, him and I had been trying to do research to find out her origins.

Because Sevina knew that she could defeat countless armies with just her powers but there was no effective weapon to overcome this emotion she had in her heart. That was the truth... He had been troubled by a lot of things all day.

She thought about her mother. She thought about the fire. She let herself go back into it — the heat, the smoke, the pine beam, the way her fingers had looked when she finally saw them in the light outside. She thought about crawling. About getting up anyway. About walking north with nothing and nowhere to go and the burning in her chest that she had not yet understood. She let it hurt. She let it convert.

Everything froze. My head snapped toward the healer's den instantly. Not a wolf's howl. An alarm. People started moving immediately, warriors rushing past the cabins toward the center of camp. Voices rose in sudden confusion. "What happened?" "Was it an attack?" "No—it came from the healer's d—" My heart slammed violently against my ribs. The healer's den. Aaron. I was already moving before I realized it. Bare feet pounding against dirt, breath tearing from my lungs as panic surged so hard my vision blurred thinking something bad had happened.

Even when he physically removed her, she would stubbornly lean against his arm, tilting her head to steal a fleeting, desperate kiss… [End of Flashback] The memories crashed over him in a relentless tide. The very scenes that used to annoy him, the acts of devotion he had once dismissed as pathetic, now made his chest tighten with an inexplicable, agonizing ache. As the car slowly pulled into the villa, the silence inside was heavier than ever. Vittorio stepped out, the cool evening air doing nothing to settle the storm in his chest. Ignoring the waiting staff, he strode toward the front entrance, his heart pounding a frantic, unfamiliar rhythm against his ribs.

I was no longer the naive, and dumb Luna of five years ago, Prison and a heart full of revenge had made me tougher. I walked outside the prison, looked up at the sun, and inhaled the fresh air. I saw a white sleek Mercedes Benz coming my way, and I was more than happy because I knew who was inside of it. When the car got in front of me the door opened and she came out of it. I hugged her tightly and she caressed my shoulders. “You have done well, Luna, I mean Lena. Mrs Lena told me everything, now a new world awaits you, and your daughter”

THRYSTAN POV "Currently, soldiers are stationed at the Base and Noor Settlement. There has been no entry or exit from Reedridge, so it may be the safest place from the plague," Uncle Morwin reported, his voice steady as always. I leaned forward, eyes narrowing as I spoke. "What about the Dragon Spire?" All eyes in the council chamber shifted toward me. Even Father’s gaze settled on me, waiting. But I pressed on. "The Dragon Spire is heavily guarded. It doesn’t allow just anyone in. Shouldn’t it be safe?"

She got promoted to a very high designation in her office, bought her own apartment and she started living a very comfortable life. Everyone claimed and some even told her it would be hard for her without Oliver. Even she thought that it wouldn't be easy to move on and get used to the fact that he wasn't around. But unexpectedly life became more life-like and progressive without him. The concept of love was never really clear to her. People said that it was very hard and heart wrenching to live without the ones you love. When Oliver left, she thought she would break down and living without him would be very difficult.
