He brought the outside in with him—a gust of cool, fresh air that smelled of damp earth and diesel, a stark contrast to the stale, recycled atmosphere of the shelter. He was dressed in his usual practical attire: sturdy boots, dark cargo pants, and a long-sleeved henley stretched tight across his shoulders. He is working so hard and has lost a couple of pounds. It must be hard for him navigating the shark-infested waters of politics and working in the ranch at the same time.
