Told as an angel that is both good and evil, besides that Samael is also nicknamed the Angel of Death which means the angel of death. It is said that Samael was once one of the rulers of the 5th level of heaven and led over 2 million other angels. Before he was then dropped to earth, Samael lived in the 7th level of heaven.
