A tiny memory card slipped onto the table. Ryan frowned. "I didn't see this before." He picked it up between his fingers. There were no markings. No label. Just a plain black memory card. His pulse quickened. Whatever was stored on it had been hidden deliberately. Someone wanted him to find it. But only after he had already read the note. Ryan stared at the card for a long time. Questions raced through his mind. Who sent it? Why me? And what could possibly be on it? Outside, thunder rumbled in the distance as dark clouds slowly gathered over Miami.

It didn’t take me long to figure out what was going on—Jaxon was going viral. “This is going to be fun,” Kade chuckled and then kissed my cheek. “I’ll see you later.” I watched him disappear and then kept walking. I stopped in front of a locker to peel off one of the stickers. It was a cartoonish meme of Jaxon, complete with exaggerated wide eyes and a speech bubble that read: "Bidding $5000 on an ex? Obsessed much?" I scoffed, shaking my head. The next one was even worse—"Jaxon’s Punch: Weakest Move of the Year."

I said roughly, trying to move past him, but he blocked me again. “Great job on the Lunch,” he said, his tone mocking. “Also, you are the hottest thing trending in the media right now. Aren’t you quite the little celeb?” Nora made a face at him, but he brushed her off and took a step closer to me. “I thought Nora would have told you by now. Pity.” He whipped out his phone and shoved it in my face. On the screen there was a picture of me… no, hold on! It was a meme! Someone had used my picture from the launch and made a meme!

He frowned, “it’s Finn, your bestie. Damn that accident must’ve shaken up your brain a bit.” I shook my head, “I remember things just fine.” Aria looked up at him, “he doesn’t remember us.” I began to grow frustrated with these people who claimed to know me. Groans came from the other cots and two guys with brown hair both got up at almost the same time. The one with the darker hair spoke first, “looks like everyone is alright.” Aria gave him a sad smile, “Zach has amnesia.” He let out a disbelieving laugh, “you’re joking.”
