he muttered, almost pulling his fingers out. “No…” I gasped, giving him a look that said ‘Don’t you dare’. My thighs were still shaking uncontrollably, and I was almost at climax. He let out a frustrated sigh, slowly pulling his fingers out, and then kissed me on the forehead. “I have to stop, baby,” he murmured. Liam got up to answer the door, and I could hear the low murmur of his flatmate, followed by the click of the door shutting. I laid there, panting, trying to catch my breath, when a sudden hunger hit me. I’d been so excited about the last day of school that I’d barely eaten all day.

“Rudeness irritates me.” Amara swallowed hard. She’d just witnessed the edge of his world, the ruthlessness that kept men like him in power. It was terrifying. It was intoxicating. And it left her dangerously unsteady. Amara forced herself to breathe evenly, though every nerve screamed in warning. Dante had returned to that relaxed, seductive composure, but she couldn’t erase the flash of danger she’d just seen, the lethal man beneath the charming exterior. She shifted slightly, putting a sliver of distance between them. “Do you always threaten people over nothing?”

I quipped, and he gave me a look that told me he didn’t know whether I was being serious or not. I wasn’t going to tell him. Let it consume his mind, I doubt it would, but it was the only thing I could think of at the moment. “Why are you following me Hench?” I asked now more relaxed that the person following me wasn’t trying to kill me. He was one of Emerson’s men, he kept popping up, each time in different attire. An actor with the world as his stage. “Keeping you safe, miss,” he said it in a cockney accent which I wasn’t sure was real, “Besides can’t let a lady such as yourself walk home alone, anything could have happened,”

His hot breath courses over my face as he hoarsens out through clenched jaws. "Stop what you're doing, Sugar...you won't like what you'll end up summoning," He warns gravely and I dare to roll my eyes with puffed cheeks. "Tell me something new, Buttercup". Wow! How audacious of me. Henry shuts his eyes tight as if battling against himself internally and the next he looks at me, air vanishes from my lungs. "You're in deep trouble...Sugar".

He is concerned something is going on back down on the beach, something that can hurt me. "It's okay, I have weapons,” he responds, his tone cold, all the tension that I had managed to get out of him is back. He holds my wrist to the point it hurts, leading me up the path at a speed that I can hardly keep up with. I force him to pause. "Eryk, how dangerous is this world?" "You're safe, I promise,” he assures me, turning back toward the house. I look over my shoulder, stopping short at the sight of a group of men approaching us on the path, each of their gazes trained on mine.

The air around me was getting tensed and I could only feel myself heating up. I scroll down the pictures and come in contact with a video. My hands were shaking as I pressed play. This can't be true. It's him. It's Collins. I look up at him then at my glass. With one shot, I take in the full liquid and empty my glass. I drop it back on the table, angrily, not caring about the loud noise it made. I grab my purse and stomp out of the restaurant. "Jane." He called from behind.

Troy began getting silverware and dishes out and I started to help him set the table. “Really,” he laughed, looking at my place settings. “Really what,” I asked, confused. He eyed the table and raised his eyebrow. Hmm! I was proud of my silverware arrangements! “We’re not just not that fancy, perfect place settings. They’re not going to know what to do with more than one fork,” he snickered. “What’s wrong with doing things properly,” I huffed, teasing him. “We ain’t proper folks,” Henry said, coming into the dining room and sitting.

He was enjoying every bit of it “why are you interested in any of this anyways? It’s dangerous. It might look fascinating now but the dangers that come with it is insane” Henry warned as he lifted his shirt and doused his wound with hydrogen peroxide He grunt with clenched fists and veins showing on his neck that he wanted to scream but couldn’t, Dylan’s face was pulled into irritation. “If you were me and you found out that the supernatural was real, everything you watched and wish you could be your whole life was actually real. Won’t you ask questions?” Dylan shrugged

Larissa dodged him impatiently and said coldly, "I have yet to settle the score with you about you getting Ross abducted, and you have the guts to come and see me?" Henry looked ghastly. He lowered his voice as if he was afraid of being heard. "Larissa, you've got to be careful of that child. He's dangerous!" Larissa looked at him as if he were an idiot, and laughed coldly. "Is there something wrong with your brain? I practice medicine but I wouldn't be able to save someone like you." Henry gritted his teeth. "I risked my life to come and tell you that that child is a dangerous entity!
