Henry X Charles Novels & Stories

We met up in my office not too long after breakfast. Charlotte insisted on pushing his wheelchair around the pack house. Creed didn’t mind though, he said he was too good to be pushing someone around all day. I made sure to tell him not to tell Charlotte that. “ So first what’s your name? All I know is you are Charlotte's brother” I started the conversation because they didn’t seem to know what to say to each other really. “ Well I'm not sure if this is the same name she remembers but I’ve always been called Henry. If they used my name, here the past few years they’ve used anything but.” He finished looking towards the ground as he spoke playing with his fingers.

Mr Peter said and left them alone to talk. “Hello.” Vivian said nervously. “Hey, Vivian. I’m Charles you can call me Charlie.” Charles said, offering his hand for a shake, which Vivian politely accepted. Charles looked nothing more than twenty five years old yet he was the director, many would wonder how, apart from his baby face he was a genius with computers , especially designing and he has made a name for himself across the country as one of the best designers. “Nice to meet you.” Vivian said smiling.

“Don’t touch others’ stuff as you like.” Xavier looked at his back and didn’t say anything for a long time. Henry was temperamental and moody. He hadn’t felt anything before, but today he had experienced it. “You really do treasure it. Those who don’t know will even think that Guinevere had just come to give it to you.” He slowly put away the teasing expression on his face. Although Henry was in a wheelchair, everyone knew that he was well-informed. There should be no one in Fern City who had more eyes and ears than him.

Now I was staring at a woman I didn’t recognize. "Henry," I said, my voice almost a whisper, as I turned to my stepson. "You? After everything I’ve given you, all the chances I—" Henry cut me off with a smirk that made my stomach churn. "Let’s not make this about me, Charles," he said casually, stepping closer to Emma. "This isn’t personal. It’s just business. You were losing your grip, and someone had to take over. That someone happened to be me."
