During the battle between Johann and him, Mikaela (the main character) tried to intervene between them but Johann already plunged his sword forward. Nicholas immediately grabbed Mikaela and sacrificed himself to protect her. Yeah, stupid as it may seem but that is how his life ended. But what if I try to give him a hand on his plan? W

[ IN WHICH SHE IS BITTER ] Every story has a protagonist, and also an antagonist— whom everyone refers to as the villain. However, in my story, I am unsure who holds the position of the protagonist and the antagonist. Even those that are expected to hold it, seem like they don't deserve it. I may be the heroine; the chief female character, since this is the story of my life, but I am not entirely sure about being a heroine. Because what sort of heroine has this much bad luck? What sort of heroine gets deceived and betrayed by her loved ones? What sort of heroine has people shooting arrows into her back? What sort of heroine is never able to obtain true happiness?

He is righteous and just and kind. A little misogynistic, but we are supposed to look past that. Then, comes the bad man who is cruel, selfish and gets what he wants. Mind you, there is almost never a bad woman- if there is, then that woman is dumb as fuck. Misogynistic, right? As if women can’t be smart. As I was saying, you are a villain. Sebastian questioned, his brow furrowed. "She might," Aiden acknowledged, taking a sip from his water bottle. "You are aware, and you still risk it all," Sebastian said, shaking his head in disbelief. "Hmm," Aiden simply hummed, drinking down the bottle of water. "Do you realize how much of a good person you are? Everybody in the business world calls you a villain, a title you've embedded into your own soul, but you are far from a villain. More like an antihero," Sebastian observed, his admiration evident in his tone.

I was truly living the life of a side character, being treated that way by my own brothers. I picked up the pesticide bottle, twisted it open, and poured it straight into my mouth. "What are you doing?!" Charlie screamed in terror, his face turning deathly pale. Even the usually composed Lucas panicked at that moment. "Are you insane? Did you really drink it?" My consciousness grew increasingly hazy, and I thought, 'What's so insane about it?' The original character in that world, Maddison Sherman, was just a villainous side character doomed to die sooner or later anyway. I remembered that the original plot said that she was supposed to die there, but it was by suicide with a knife instead.

I challenged. Viktor made a casual face of indifference. “Sure, go ahead,” he encouraged. “You can easily ruin it for her where she has reunited with her biological father after twenty-something years, and by that logic, Marco is her half-brother now. I am sure Lilliana would be delighted to see you with her newfound family.” Yeah, when he put it that way. “When have I become the villain?” I snickered at him. “You are always and essentially the villain. The problem is Dominic,” Viktor said, and he was back to his dominant outline. “When you try and play the fucking hero.”

Because, heroes will sacrifice the heroine for the world but villains will destroy the whole world for her. She even has a wild fantasy that she wants a Mafia to abduct her then he will fall in love with her. I told her while breaking the bubbles of her illusional world that he won't fall in love with you but cut you into pieces and feed his dogs. She made a sad, cute face and said, I'm very cruel.

“She gave everything for you. And what did you do? You used her for your own benefit. You used her for publicity, for your image, like she was nothing but a prop.” He shook his head weakly, trying to speak, but the shadows around his throat silenced him. “You killed her child, Hyperion,” I spat, my rage bubbling to the surface. “You erased her memories, took away her life, and left her with nothing.” I saw the regret in his eyes, but it wasn’t enough. It would never be enough. “You’re not a hero,” I snarled. “You’re a villain. Just like the G.H.C. You pretend to fight for justice, but you’re all the same. All of you. You’re nothing but killers and liars.”

I was simply playing my role in a larger scheme, and her emotions were proof of my success in manipulating her. “Well, Dahlia,” I said, my tone gentle, “I’m glad you’re excited. I just wanted to make sure you had a memorable holiday. I’ll ensure everything is perfect.” As Dahlia’s eyes shimmered with gratitude, I felt a fleeting pang of guilt—though it was quickly overshadowed by my satisfaction. I was using her as a pawn in my revenge, and every step of the plan was falling into place. In the end, her happiness was merely a tool in my grand design, but I couldn’t deny the pleasure I took in watching her respond to my every gesture.
