Moon Touched
It was a purr.
“What the—” I froze as Katia’s fingers scratched behind my ears. And stars help me, it felt good. Too good. My eyelids fluttered before I realized I was leaning into it, a rumbling vibration rolling from my chest.
“Excuse me,” Agnes tried again, louder this time.
But Katia was smiling down at me like I was the most precious thing in creation. My pride shriveled while my heart melted. This woman was dangerous.
“Selene,” she said softly, “I’m not upset with you. I understand why you turned my mate into a… cat. But how long will he be like this?”
