Arthur's POV “I’ve missed you so much, Arthur.” Tori hugs me so tight. I do miss her, but not suffocating hugs. I turn to Adrian who is standing behind Tori. “Adrian,” I boldly called him. “Arthur, It’s good to see you after a long time.” Adrian tells me. “I would say the same but I can’t place exactly why you’re here.” I was trying to get them to speak up already, why they are in my territory?

His eyes are dancing with flames and daring him to ask again. "Mr. Brown is too distant, we are close friends Alex. You can call me Arnold you know," Arnold chuckles, but there’s no humor in it. His eyes stay on Alex, hard with challenge, waiting to see if he’ll crack. Arnold looks like he's in his late forties with too much gel in his hair. It's unsettling. “I don’t know,” Arnold muses, swirling the whiskey in his glass. “You never used to mind sharing before.”

I rolled my eyes. Arnold was a flirt, he flirts with anything female but has very high taste in women. He hadn't found his mate yet and that was why whenever a foreign offer came into the company from another country, he would go in my stead with the hope of coming across his mates there. He didn't even care if his mate was a human as far as she was relatable. He rolled his eyes, sensing the sarcasm in my tone. "Let's forget about mine now, tiger. You're the newest couple in town, so how are we going to celebrate this?" I asked.

Missing its initial target, it rebounded swiftly, launching another assault on Arnold. "Hmph, you dare challenge me? Perish!" Arnold sneered as a faint golden aura surrounded him, morphing him into a formidable figure. With a roar, he sprinted toward the nearest corpse like a cannonball. Meanwhile, the corpse swung its attacks at Arnold, who evaded the strikes and countered with a powerful punch, obliterating its head. But as soon as he dispatched the first corpse, another lunged at him. Undeterred, Arnold unleashed a flurry of formidable attacks against it.

The younger brothers nodded in agreement and started to leave, willing to cover all the jobs that the eldest ordered. As Arthur started keeping the important parchments in the box, a knock was heard on the office door catching his attention. He lifts his head and is greeted by a smirking and worn-out Arnold. The man froze for a second and gawked at the blue-eyed warrior open-mouthed. “Arnold, my brother, you are back.” He rasped out hoarsely when Arnold stepped inside and falls on one of the jute chairs in fatigue.

Mora was curled up awkwardly on the sofa nearby. At least someone stayed. I shifted slightly and suddenly noticed movement near the door. I think I saw a tall figure stood there silently. My heart jumped instantly. “Arnold?” I called softly. The figure disappeared immediately. I stared at the door for a few seconds before laughing bitterly under my breath. What was I expecting? That he would suddenly regret everything? Arnold Reid is too proud for that. My voice must have woken Mora because she sat up quickly. “You’re awake?”

Arnold seemed to think about something, so he did not really think about Joseph, who was still contacting him. Joseph Martin Alonso: “I am fine. I have received the photos and videotape of Abby and Massimo you emailed earlier."
