He was leaner than Hunter, with hair the color of sand and eyes that glowed a mischievous, dangerous gold. He stopped in the doorway, sniffing the air.
"Well, well," the newcomer drawled, kicking the door shut behind him. He looked at me, then at Hunter, then back at me. A slow, wicked smile spread across his face. "Hunter, you didn't tell me we had company. And she smells like expensive perfume and heartbreak."
Hunter didn't look back. He kept his eyes on me. "Gloria, meet Arnold. My brother."
