Chapter 1 Xena Remington What can be a very stupid decision when it comes to your career? Being an HR Manager to one of the most dangerous people in this country. On paper it looks great. Xena Remington, working as a Senior HR under the Lancaster Empire. Till now my job has been very easy, just finding people to hire and keeping everyone in the office happy by managing their complains. On occasions, it has gotten difficult when it comes to being there when your acquaintances are fired but hey, it’s a part of my job.

Tiana paused, removed her designer sunglasses and looked at Matilda from head to toe like she was a bag of trash. “You cannot be talking to me”. Tiana used her shoulder to hit Matilda, as she continued walking. Matilda rubbed her shoulder as she watched Tiana walk away, she wanted to pull her hair but she knew her job was at stake.

I opened the door thinking it was Alex and to my surprise, it was a blonde-haired lady with two hefty men. "Hello, is Alex in?" she asked. "And who are you? " I asked, and she smiled, looking offended. "The cabin belongs to the Yellow moon pack, right?" She asked. "Who are you?" I repeated. I wasn't about to give information to a total stranger. "If you insist. My name is Hilda Carter, daughter of Beta Dillard Carter and chosen mate of future Alpha Alex Wildbreed."

The ridiculousness surprised him more as he thought of it. "Hey, I didn't know you were in there..." Harry's voice trailed off. "Yeah, we got back from the Raid role anniversary a few minutes ago and I wanted to change my dress, till you came in." Maria lied notoriously. Jackson adjusted his dropped jaw, completely surprised as to how she created such an excuse in a span of seconds. His PA was a notorious liar. "He went to the anniversary!?
