Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

“But of course. Otherwise, why would she keep their marriage a secret? Emily said that the man might even be a rogue, and I think that it’s plausible.” Susan leisurely peeled a longan fruit as she spoke in a small voice, her tone filled with mockery. “I really want to see just how ugly that person is. In fact, I think that Xyla might not even have the guts to show up today.” Mary looked expectantly at the entrance, itching to watch a good show. “Mary, your makeup and hairdo today is really nice. Your peach and pink plaid tube dress make you look like a little princess.” Heather started kissing up to Mary.

Shifa Shaikh
The storyline is too good to be true! I love all the leads and emotions are shown very clearly... but nowadays, it looks like story is still dragged out... same drama, same praises, same scandals... either this should end on a good note or may be Author should change the perspective.
Peachy Barbadillo
a lot is going on with the story and I feel like Stanley was being left behind in this story...I think y should focus more on the two main character...where is Stanley's point of view when xyla were being attack and bullied..that's all but great story though but decided to drop it...

HIS DESTINED MATE

HIS DESTINED MATE

cursed? The pretty barmaid set another drink in front of me. "Rough night?" I gave a hollow laugh. "Rough life." I replied taking a sip of the whiskey. As I was about to open the seventh bottle, a warm presence settled on the stool beside me. The newcomer's cologne had an intriguing cedar and smoke scent wafting my way. I risked a glance over. A strikingly handsome man caught my eye, all thoughts of him forgotten when I met his piercing hazel eyes. There was something...different about him. Exotic and powerful. Like an immortal watching over normal people.

Return Of The Billionaire's Soulmate

Return Of The Billionaire's Soulmate

She said, turning to leave but pausing at the door. “It’s Marianne Corelle, not Skarsgard. Don’t forget, I was never truly your wife. I’m sorry for ruining you,” she said, her tears falling as she walked out of the house that night.

The HIDDENS

The HIDDENS

Despite his silent reassurance, the knot in my chest tightened with every passing moment. “This,” began Elder Marston, his voice sharp and cutting, “is unacceptable.” The murmurs of agreement from the others rippled through the room like a tide. “You’ve crossed a line, Jake,” added Elder Helena, her eyes narrowing at me as though I were some sort of wild animal she’d found in her home. “Marrying her wasn’t just impulsive—it was reckless.” I swallowed hard, my voice lodged somewhere in my throat. “She’s my mate,” Jake said, his voice calm but firm. “The Moon Goddess chose her for me. That’s not up for debate.”

THE VEILED BRIDE

THE VEILED BRIDE

Children running across a meadow with the specific joy of people who have no agenda and no awareness of being watched. Then the hillside. Wildflowers, thousands of them, covering the slope in waves of yellow and blue and white that moved with the wind like the surface of something alive. Kiva's lips parted. "They're beautiful." She said it quietly, to herself rather than to me, the words escaping before she had cleared them with the part of her that was always managing what she said. Then she caught herself and looked down. I said nothing. Several minutes later I leaned toward the front. "Stop here."

THE HARRISON HEIRESS

THE HARRISON HEIRESS

“I think you’re mistaken, ma’am. I’ve never seen you before.” Mothers' frown deepens. “No. You’re the woman who pulled my hair at Daisy’s party.” My spine straightens. The air tightens around us. Lilian’s face doesn’t crack. “I’m sorry, Mrs. Harrison, but I wasn’t at any party. You must be confusing me with someone else.” “No,” Mother says, voice surprisingly firm. “You pushed me. Then you pulled my hair.” Lilian’s denial is smooth—practiced, even.

This one is a bit of a departure from the millionaire romance tropes that E.S. writes often, and I’m here for it! This FL is vulnerable with a secret well guarded. I love how E.S. was able to write this character and her struggles while preserving the dignity of this character. Well done!

Hades |Lesbian Version|

Hades |Lesbian Version|

In chaste bands, the matrons of Elysium honored their new queen with songs before the newlywed goddesses went to their secluded room. Through the open windows, the breeze from the five rivers carried the sound of hissing waves dashed against the thirsty black shore. Inside the chamber, a bronze brazier burned away with its brilliant flames. The flower-scented space was finely lit like a dream. Their marriage bed was neatly made for them with red petals of roses laid beautifully. With genial and kindly fashion, Hades induced her young wife to sit on a soft cushioned seat beside herself.

Maria

Maria

She muttered d to herself—under her breath as she walked into the office with Harry behind her. "Look who is here, my sweetheart!" Jackson called out in a joyous and annoyingly pitched voice making Maria's hair stand. She flashed him a pretentious grin, before moving her gaze to the other people in the room. Sean, as usual, had emotions masked behind his stern face, contrary to Higgins who looked like he had seen a ghost, the main of his hair looking scattered—probably from consistent and frustrating ruffles.
