I murmured. “Speak of the devil.” Detective baker frowned. I looked in the direction of where he was looking and saw a woman in a suit walking toward us. She had a friendly smile painted on her face, but I had a feeling we wouldn’t be the best of friends. “Detective Baker, long time no see,” she beamed. “I prefer it that way,” detective Baker grumbled. He still hadn’t returned her smile. So they must have some kind of history there. She looked at me. “You must be Marina Davis,” she said. “I am Special Agent Danna Halman. You can call me Danna or agent Danna.”

As we walked to the shuttle stop, the breeze felt wonderful against my skin. David had decided that we were going to Hapuna Beach, one of the most beautiful white-sand beaches on the Big Island. We took the resort shuttle to the main road and then caught the Hele-On bus north along the Kohala coast. David followed me onto the bus, and we found seats together right away. At one point we went for a long walk along the shoreline in our swimsuits and sandals, holding hands and talking about our future. “Best decision we ever made, marrying each other,” David said, kicking at the waves.

"So Echa and I played on the old slide because Daniel and Alaska wouldn’t share the new one. Echa was sad, Mommy, but then her dad bought her a swing!" "Echa is so lucky. Do you want a swing too, sweetheart?" I asked, sipping my sugar-free tea. I was on a diet because later in the afternoon, I would be playing the piano at someone's wedding. "Mm... No. I don’t like swings. But can we have a haunted house, Mommy?" Alvin asked, his eyes pleading. Lately, Alvin had been obsessed with horror comics and loved ghost movies. "Of course, my darling!" I said. Yeah, I would decorate his room later with fabric and props, pretending to be Bloody Mary. Maybe Orion would join in?

As per usual, I have had another successful day at work. I just wish my personal life was just as successful. "Jake! Did you really just land the Champa account?!" Lin asked as she walked into my small office. I smiled as I watched her run over to me and I stood up to hug her. "I did and I am not sure how I was able to do it but I did." I responded with a hint of shyness. Lin is the loudest of our marketing group and she is also the one who coordinates all of our work functions.

As the villagers packed the entire village with meat and vegetables everywhere, Matthew and June sat in Suka's house, questioning him. “...then how did you get that?” Matthew pointed at the tooth-like souvenir with the symbol of water. "This, Matthew." Suka placed the necklace in Matthew's hand. "Is the only key to open what covers Atlantis. It's a secret door, no one knows about it except me and my tribe. The door will lead to a very secret part of the island which is highly protected. Look for the missing hole which will fit this key perfectly."
