Once everything was all downloaded, I turned on airplane mode on my phone and began reading a sci-fi romance novel called The Eight Princes' Consort From Another Space Time. It was a novel about a girl who was mysteriously transported a thousand years back in time and first became the second daughter of the Qu family before she was married to the Eight Prince of Dongue.

What was your inspiration to write The Lady and the Scoundrel? I am a writer and full-time editor for many different projects, including a short story magazine. I wanted to write a contemporary romance inspired by my favorite romance novels as an exercise in discipline, to see if I could take on longer writing projects.
