She said, "Boss is around" I heard them whisper before she hung up the intercom. After a few seconds, I heard a knock on my door. "Come in the door is slightly open, just push it," I said to them, "Good morning sir" they all echoed. "Good morning guys. How was your night's rest?" I asked with a smile. "It was fine, that's the first day I didn't take extra work home." The black guy said. "Same here Josh" they chorused. Oh, his name is josh. That's cool.

I sent, taking a deep cleansing breath. "Good night, cat-eyed lady." He wished and a second later another message came with a kissing emoji. "Good night, boss." I wrote back, adding the same emoji at the end.

She answered on the first ring, he heard 'shhh, my boss' that came out as a whisper, before silence enveloped the other end. "You're with Jad... Ms. Raymonds' assistant I guess." He stated the obvious, making no room for questions. "Yes, I'm with Annabelle. Any problem sir?" Her voice sounded confused, and he heard 'what?' from a voice that wasn't hers. Both of them were listening, better. "Tell her Ms. Raymonds and I have a business dinner with our Dubai partners by seven thirty, and apparently her boss has fallen asleep. I want her to see to it that she wakes up and gets ready before seven fifteen."
