I kicked it open, stepped inside, and fired at the man reaching for the alarm.
The halls were chaotic—shouts, footsteps, and gunfire echoing. But through it all, one thought stayed clear in my head: Find Angel.
I turned a corner and there he was—two agents dragging him toward an armored truck. His face was pale, wrists bound.
“Angel!” I shouted.
They turned. That one second of hesitation was enough.
I fired. The one on the left dropped instantly. The second tried to aim, but my bullet caught him in the chest.
I ran to Angel, grabbed him, and cut the restraints off his wrists. He stumbled forward into me.
