Hunter POV It took us eight days. Eight days of following Molly's maps. Eight days of crossing worlds that had nothing to do with ours. Eight days of hoping each green and yellow tunnel would finally be the right one. On the morning of the ninth day... We found it. The moment we stepped into the mouth of the cave, I felt it. The air. The smell. Decay. Blood. Chemicals. I immediately grabbed Molly's arm. "Wait." She nodded silently.

Before I could ask him why he did that, Hogan began to explain. “I o-obtained it in a cave 1,800 meters deep. It was expensive. T-That’s why,” he said. I didn’t respond. It’s not that I didn’t want to. I just could not. “W-When your hands feel better, come out and train again,” he added. “I’ll come out first.” Hogan walked to West, entered a door, and closed it. I blinked. Seconds later, Hogan opened the door again and went out. He probably realized that he went inside the toilet by mistake.

I frowned and looked at Xian. “What are those?” I whisper to him, making him lean closer to me. He turned his gaze to it, “Those are private cubicles, only people who have membership can enter those” I nodded.

Alice clarifies. “I think I understand what you’re aiming for,” Johnson says, an idea forming in his mind. “We need to find a cave, even a small one, and enlarge it,” Alice proposes. “There’s a small cave behind the waterfalls, but it’s hard to access since the water falls directly at the entrance. Anyone who tries to enter will get wet, and anything inside will get wet too. No way to build a fire in there,” Fernando explains. “That’s exactly what we need. The enemy won’t suspect we’re inside that cave. They won’t even know it exists,” Alice quickly responds.

This hallway was bigger than the last and had some large formations of rock to hide behind at least. The smell that filled my nostrils from last night quickly invaded them again; we were getting closer to where I had been. There was not one part of this cave that was even remotely dry even the three of us were covered in water from head to toe. As we moved through the cave, we heard something move. A large boulder had gotten loose from the wall and was tumbling towards us. Sylvia and I jumped out of the way at the same time, but Tony was a little late and the boulder came crashing down on his leg.

He hopped out and motioned for me to follow. “This is it,” he said, pointing towards a cave entrance nestled between the rocks. I stared at the cave, its dark mouth gaping like a portal to another world. The air around it felt cooler, heavier, and the faint sound of dripping water echoed from within. “This is where the sapphires are?” I asked, my voice hushed. He nodded, his expression serious. “The locals say this cave goes deep… deeper than it should. They say it’s dangerous, that it could collapse at any moment.”

THIRD P.O.V. Zack and his group made it to the far side of the waterfall. The cobblestone was slick with water, making it difficult to get across, but they made it. The hidden cave was behind the waterfall, covered with vines and rusted bars. Zack and Bronx grabbed a hold of the bars and pulled. The motion shook the entire cave, with debris falling in multiple places. “We can’t pull this out without bringing this whole thing down,” Zack said, stepping back. Mary walked up to the bars and examined them before squeezing right through. “Well, that’s one way to do it.”
