SWEET SPOT
I said my goodnights and headed straight upstairs to my room.
The moment the door closed behind me, a breathless smile finally broke free. I collapsed onto my bed, staring up at the ceiling, my heart still racing from everything Garrett had said on the porch. Blushing like a fool. Deeply in love. I rolled over onto my side, my eyes catching the near-empty carton of hot sauce sitting on my vanity. We’d been using it so much lately that only a tiny bit remained at the bottom. I simply gave the box a smile before looking away.
Pulling out my phone, I tucked myself under the covers.
