The hum became a roar as she collapsed. She landed on a vast expanse of black glass. It stretched endlessly beneath her feet, reflecting the hollow sky above. In that sky, no stars shone, only a fractured, bleeding moon. And in the distance, chained to pillars of obsidian, was the Hollow Blade. “Raven…”

“The seal hasn’t held.” Mireya’s grip tightened on her sword. “Then we reseal it. Tell us how.” Serenya shook her head. “It’s too late. The Hollow is alive now. It’s feeding on the space between us.” Kaelen pressed his hand against the mirror. The glass felt hot under his palm. “Then let me pull you out before it takes you.” “It’ll take you instead,” she said. “That’s how it works. One leaves, one stays.”

Burn marks at the edges, as if something powerful had exploded from the center. “A ritual circle,” Halric muttered, kneeling to study it. “But old. Ancient. Some of these glyphs… I thought they were banned.” “They were,” I said. “This one here—” I pointed, my fingers trembling. “This is the Rune of Hollowing. It means ‘to empty the vessel.’” Nilo crouched beside me. “Then this one here means ‘spirit inversion.’ And over here—” he pointed to a jagged shape etched in blood-red stone, “’gate.’”

Fuck, I’d give just about anything to be one of them. A horn blows, low and resonant. I cock my head. I haven’t heard that before. Moonlight Hollow is attacking, Kieran says urgently. Here.

They didn’t even notice how their defenses were starting to fail. Hunters were screaming along with the rouges. They think victory comes from their group, but one of the rouges screams when the werewolves start to attack. ** Drake was playing with his son in the queen’s chamber when he heard the loud banging sound of explosions, gunshots, and grunts from afar. His forehead knitted; he put his son in the crib and rushed towards the window to see where the explosions came from. Drake’s eyes went cold and dangerous as Dillon appeared in his mind.

"A series of 'Dark-Nodes' are forming. They aren't Purists, and they aren't Architects. They’re something new—The Hollows." The Hollows were regions of the universe where the Expansion had moved too fast, leaving behind "Low-Resolution" zones where the reality was thin, grey, and hungry. They didn't have teams; they had "Eraser-Swarms" that sought to pull the vibrant, high-definition matter of the Sovereign Valley back into the void. The Call to the Rim

“ The next game is called the game of Echoes.” Luke announced, standing on the makeshift ring where the five used to practice fighting. “Each competitor will go through the East portal which leads to the world of the hollows. For the sake of those who do not know,” he continued. “ Hollows are phantoms that can see guilt, pain, rage, jealousy, and envy. They can also materialize into your greatest fears, your deepest desires and the things that haunt you when you sleep.

she said, her voice almost reverent, “there are forces older than your pack, even older than your whole lineage.” I stared at her, unimpressed. “Fairy tales.” She leaned closer. “I am a High Priestess of the Hollow.” The name meant nothing to me. “Hollow?” I repeated, frowning. “It is not a place you walk into,” she said. “It is a current that grants power channeled from beyond the living realm.” “That’s nonsense.” “It is forbidden, yes,” she corrected gently. “But it is not nonsense.” I shook my head. “You expect me to believe you can drag someone back from death using some ancient void?”

Chloe does; Hecate.” “Hecate? What kind of name is that?” “It’s the name of a Greek goddess. As far as we can tell, only the Wolfe line has a wolven spirit with a Greek name. Even Sierra and Alvaro don’t have them. So, how come she has one?” Lucas raised an eyebrow, hazel eyes darkening as the questions piled up. “I think we need to make a call.”
