(Elisa’s POV) I loved how my life turned out. One minute, I was lying beside the road with a bullet wound from people I thought were my friends, and here I was living a life of crime and loving it. I looked at my watch, realizing how late I was to get to the restaurant, and said, “I have to go. I need to run the books for my bar and restaurant.” I turned to Lorenzo and asked, “Are you coming?” I asked since he had insisted on tagging along.

"You can't judge a book by its cover. Gary and his friends would never look like the type to commit such a heinous deed, but that's exactly what they did. That night, Gary saw Walter in the well. He slipped and fell into the water out of fear. Fez and the others saw the Sanders family in the well and ended up suffering the same fate. Yes, I killed them, but they deserved to die for their actions." Wilbur let out a long breath, looking at the young man. "Well, that makes them pretty deserving of death, then." Wilbur did not feel wary of the young man anymore and bowed to him slightly. "What's your name, sir?" The young man glanced at Wilbur. "The name's No-Night."

Gracie says, and we look at each other. I've seen nothing like it. We got back home before mom could realize that we were not home. NIGHT 9:00 PM I'm lying on my bed, thinking about the incident that happened up the street today. I wonder if that old man survived it, I wonder if he's still alive or in a coma.

Aldous added. "Take it easy on the child, Aldous, you know she misses the city, she had never stepped foot out of this house for a month now!" Her mother Editha was always so protective of her little girl, their one and only child. Aldous and Editha were both assigned by the nazi government to run the Jasenovac concentration camp notorious for its barbaric practices to a large number of victims. Jasenovac specialized in one-on-one violence of particularly brutal kind and prisoners were primarily murdered manually with the use of blunt objects such as knives, hammers, and axes.

​"Leo..." ​The surrounding noise of the night seemed to fade into absolute silence. The muffled, heavy thud of the club music behind the metal doors, the groans of the four men bleeding out on the wet pavement, the quiet drip of rain falling off the brick walls—it all died away. The entire world shrank down to just the two of them standing under the flickering yellow streetlight. ​They simply stared at each other for a full, agonizing minute. Neither of them moved. Neither of them dared to breathe.

Night was always the time when everything happened. From dark supernatural forces roaming the world, to vampires lurking in every corner of the streets and most importantly, those who found pleasure in the nightlifes. Those whose only solace were clubs, bars, and joint houses. And let's not forget, notorious gang members were said to enjoy prying on the weak at night out in the streets. In one word, the night harbored everything bad and evil; which was the gang members, vampires and demons. Only two out of those didn't exist in this world we live in except for the gang members of course. Let's face it, this was reality anyways.
