During the daytime, people remain preoccupied with their work, distractions, conversations, routines that they don't even notice subtle happenings. However, at night it's different. When everything goes quiet with minimal activities around. Sounds, movements, aromas, etc. can be detected in a much more clear way. Senses become more acute therefore, one can feel the subtle changes in temperature, light, sound, etc. It is also hard for ghosts and spirits to manifest themselves during the daytime. It's always easier for them to interact with the physical plane in either darkness or artificial lights, not the natural sources of lights. That is the reason why activities happen at night only.

Well, it is dangerous for the vampires because they are in their most vulnerable state and any human in sight could.., well, be taken as an object of satisfaction.”
