The ladies all giggle and Julie stands, handing a new bookmark to each of us. "Yes. We figured we'd get you ones that suited you a little better." she says. The new one is dark blue with gold lettering that says 'Real men read dirty books'. I smile and look over at Ev who's showing Harper his excitedly. "These are great. Thank you." I say just as Bri nudges me. "Oh! Tell them your joke, love!" Harper says excitedly. Ev rolls his eyes before addressing the group.

I tilted my head at her but she was still looking out the window at her mother. After a minute she shook her head, “I think I want to go for a walk,” I nodded my head once with an understanding grin and got out to open her door for her. Harold was out and I was all alone inside the house. I walked upto the book shelf and checked the books he had in his book shelf. Most of them were of business and some were of Sherlocks books, don't wanna read detective books. There was no romantic books here. In such a big book shelf, there are only detective and business management books. I again thoroughly went through the books and found a yellow color old book, which was neither detectives nor business books. I pulled it out and read the title of the book. PARENTHOOD.

There was no way he could be getting clucky over children now that he was bonded. It had been all of what, four days? He still didn’t know what to think of the omega and he certainly didn’t love him. Attracted? Definitely. But love? Isn’t that what families were made of? Love? “I need a drink,” he muttered as they reached the inn they were staying at. What he really needed was to turn his damn brain off for a few hours and his usual idea of solemnly thinking about things to distract him would not help his case tonight.

When my shift ended, I found myself walking toward the corner table where Kael sat, his laptop closed now, a book in his hands. I stopped short when I saw the cover. ‘Knot We Cannot Untie.’ That was the book he was holding. I can't believe that Kael would be reading one of Linda Lively’s books. “You read… this?” I said, the surprise evidently in my voice. Kael looked up, one brow raised. “Why? You think I only read racing magazines and bank statements?” I gave a small laugh. “Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ”

Hazel enjoys getting to know all of them, and she feels like she's making a difference in their lives, one book at a time. Hazel's favorite part of her job is hosting the weekly book club. It's a small group of about eight people, but they're passionate about reading and always have fascinating insights to share. One of the members, a woman named Margaret, is especially enthusiastic. She always brings snacks for the group and keeps everyone engaged in lively discussion. One day, Margaret comes in with a big smile on her face. "You'll never believe what happened!" she says. "I was at the grocery store, and I ran into a famous author!

The librarian, a wise old man with spectacles perched on his nose, had greeted them warmly and invited them to explore the dusty shelves filled with ancient tomes. As Scarlett's fingers grazed the spines of the books, a particular leather-bound volume caught her eye. Its title, "The Prophecy of the Shifting Stars," called to her with an inexplicable pull. She plucked it from the shelf and dusted off its cover, revealing faded golden letters etched into the leather. Curiosity burned within Scarlett. She opened the book and began to read aloud, her voice barely above a whisper. The words flowed like poetry from her lips, resonating deeply within her soul.

she says looking at me, I tried my best to hide under my own overgrown bangs. "Do you have it reserved already?" I ask hoping that was the case so I can grab one that's near the check stand of all the reserved books for their customers. I was starting to feel self-conscious of myself as I caught the woman still looking but shook it off as I had to work. "Yes it's under the name of Kennedy smith” she replies. I nodded and looked up the name, once got to the checkout stand, finding it rather quickly then did the whole check out process for reserved books before putting in a bag for her.
